Darius Rucker ... Rookie of the Year

Darius Rucker joined the show after winning Country Rookie of the Year at the CMA last night. Rucker explained how he learned about country music growing up.

"Hee-Haw was huge for me," Rucker said. Rucker also pointed to Charlie Rich.

Rucker made it clear that he may not have lived a country lifestyle, but he definitely lived the songs in his country album.

Despite the award, Rucker said that he would still come in and be the house band at the studio one day.
