San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner joined the show to discuss their season.
Turner said he expects San Diego running back LaDainian Tomlinson to have more success moving forward.
"When we gave him opportunities ... he made great runs," Turner said of Tomlinson. "I think as we continue through he's going to get good opportunities ... and he'll make the most of them."
Tomlinson said L.T.'s lack of success is partly because of circumstance. For example, the Giants used several run blitzes and dominated the time of possession.
Dan also asked Turner if his quarterback Philip Rivers was cocky or confident.
"Philip is one of the most down to earth people you've ever been around," Turner said. "There's nothing cocky about anything he does. Whether it's in the meeting room, the weight room ... on the field."
Dan also asked Turner about who ultimately makes the play calls on a last-minute drive -- like the one they had against the Giants last Sunday. Turner explained that running Darren Sproles saw a mistmatch because a Giants defender was banged up and told everyone. So Sproles' information made them change the play.
On a lighter note, Turner said he watches Deal or No Deal to relax when he's not watching film.
