Charles Barkley says LeBron should be in dunk contest

-- Barkley wanted LeBron to participate in the Slam Dunk contest. "I was a little bit disappointed because he told us he was gonna be in it last year," Barkley said. Barkley pointed out that Michael Jordan, Julius Erving and Dominique Wilkins did it. He thinks it would be good for the game.

-- Barkley said that fans definitely should not be able to vote in the All-Star game. "I don't feel the All Star game should be a popularity contest," Barkley said. "We should reward guys for having a good season."

-- The White Shadow is one of the most underrated shows in the history of television.

-- Barkley not a fan of bloggers: "Sports is the only profession in the world where we let every day idiots pretend they know what they're talking about."

-- Barkley said he hasn't talked to Tiger Woods, who has changed his number. "I don't know anything," Barkley said.

Barkley said he can't stand seeing pundits rip Tiger. Barkley said that he doesn't want to offer Tiger advice or judge him. "I want him to know he has friends," Barkley said.

-- Barkley went out of his way to praise Peyton Manning. Barkley said Manning is playing as well as any athlete in a long time.

-- Barkely said he doesn't like the Rooney Rule in the NFL. He called it the "Mickey Rooney Rule." Barkleys said it's ridiculous that the Bills hired Chan Gailey off the street without giving Leslie Frazier a shot.
