Tannenbaum: Don't expect to see Lil' Wayne at halftime

Rob Tannenbaum, the musical editor of Blender Magazine, joined the show to discuss Bruce Springsteen as the Super Bowl halftime entertainment.

Tannenbaum thinks the NFL is still trying to recover from the Janet Jackson fiasco and want to skew older with their choice of halftime entertainment.

Though Prince was a risky choice, Tannenbaum thinks the NFL made him sign a "no exposure" contract.

The NFL will likely hint to Springsteen not to play something slow or controversial. Like most halftime acts, he'll probably just play his hits. Dan was told The Boss will play some type of medley during his performance.

If Tannenbaum had to pick one artist who has zero chance of performing at halftime, it would be Lil' Wayne. The NFL wants an act that is safe and reliable and won't upset anyone. Springsteen is the ideal choice for that.
