Washington Post columnist and Pardon The Interruption host Michael Wilbon joined the show to talk about the Tony Kornheiser suspension and more.
Wilbon claimed "plausible deniability" about the whole situation: "As you know, I've never been part of the Bristol culture. I don't know how these things work. iI don't know what is affiliated," Wilbon said.
But Wilbon did say he hopes this story passes soon. "I feel bad about the whole thing," Wilbon said. "Hopefully he'll be back in the seat. I can't take too much [Dan] LeBatard ... I'm teasing."
Here are some of Wilbon's other takes:
-- On Antawn Jamison to Cleveland: "I think Antawn Jamison is a better fit for the [Cavaliers] than Amar'e Stoudemire. He stretches the floor in a way Amar'e Stoudemire can't and won't.
-- On LeBron James' future: "I think it goes back to a team and not a place. Where can he win immediately? Especially if he doesn't win this year. ... If the Cleveland Cavaliers don't win this year, do you know LeBron will go one year longer than Michael Jordan not winning [a title]. ... In my conversations with LeBron, it seems winning has now become the obsession."
-- On the Redskins: "I'm not sure just having Mike Shanahan ... I'm not sure that's going to solve the problem. I'm not sure that it will .
-- On the possibility of the PGA suspending Tiger Woods: "There's no way. ... You going to suspend people for adultery, like the Scarlet Letter? ... There's no suspsension for Tiger Woods that will be considered for 30 seconds."
