  • Orlando fired Brian Hill in mid-February, replaced him with Richie Adubato, who finished the year 21-12, almost beat Miami in the playofs and still lost his job to Chuck Daly.
  • Orlando's starting five (Rony, Ho, 3-D, Nick, Penny) started just 31 games (18-13). Orlando lost 189 player games to injury and had 21 different starting lineups.
  • When Penny played, the Magic were 38-21. Without Penny, they were 7-16 as a team.
