By Ryan E. Houston, Special to CNNSI.com

If you're reading this, you must be in the finals and are anxiously awaiting tomorrow's games. Hopefully this will be one of many Super Bowls you will participate in during your tenure as owner in your respective leagues. There is nothing like reaping the rewards of a successful season with a trophy, plaque or, my favorite prize, cash! You deserve it. You put in a lot of hard work and your dedication and perseverance will pay off. Good Luck this week to all of you!

Let me also say thanks to all of you for making this an incredible season for all of us at FantasyAsylum.com. Our hit counts were astonishing and we really appreciate all of you who stopped by to check us out. Make sure to visit us during the off-season as we have some special plans for next season. Thanks again for all your input and advice.

Onto the report....

You Suck Award

This weeks award goes to Ricky Williams. Why you decided to suck in the playoffs is beyond me. Your pitiful 14 carries, 57 yards; 4 catches, 13 yards performance nearly killed me in two leagues. I didn't draft you sixth overall with the thoughts that you would "hurt" me in the playoffs. You better do something this week to make amends or you will kept off my keeper list.

  • Note to self: Don't draft a guy with "Gramatica" as his last name!

Ten things you should know about Week 16

    1. Various reports out of the Pittsburgh area indicate that Jerome Bettis will not play the final two games of the season. This is a prime example of why your league should have a Super Bowl in Week 16. Wait until next week when half the NFL studs take the day off ... yikes.

    2. It is looking as if Mike McMahon and James Stewart will not play this week. I am sure if you were starting Lions all year, you'r3 probably not in this game, but it is important for depth purposes.

    3. When the guy that has Warner or Faulk starts talking smack about how he "knew" the Colts would be facing the Rams during the final week of your season, remind him that if it wasn't for the tragedy of Sept. 11, he wouldn't have that matchup.

    4. Speaking of Rams, anybody think Trung Candidate is going to get some playing time this week? If you have ice in your veins play them both.

    5. The Vikings are hurting and Spergon Wynn is going to get the start this week. This development will affect Moss and Carter owners but could help Bennett owners. I am sure Randy will show up in Green Bay. He always does, but just how great can he be with Wynn at the helm? Do you dare sit him? I think not!

    6. Brian Griese and Rod Smith look healthy and ready to ruin the Raiders season. Both make solid starts along with Terrell Davis.

    7. TFL Report is running a report that the Dolphins may try to utilize Travis Minor more in the offense. This is bad news for Lamar Smith owners. "Lamar is still the starter, nothing has changed on that," Wannstedt said. "We have a number of ways that we can use Travis, and we'll see how the game goes." Anybody think Smith will be a Dolphin next year?

    8. Would you dare play Eddie George this week? You gotta feel bad for the dude. I have had the opportunity to meet the guy on several occasions and he is a definite class act. Regardless, I just think he's way too nicked up to help you this week.

    9. The following players are listed as Questionable as of Friday afternoon: Steve McNair QB, Mike McMahon QB, James Stewart RB, Eddie George RB, James Thrash WR, Muhsin Muhammad WR, Martay Jenkins WR, Wesley Walls TE, Sebastian Janikowski K, Martin Gramatica K.

    10. Just Win Baby!

    INSANEX Playoff Picture

What a set of games we had this past weekend. Two teams pulled out narrow victories.

The Asylum squad squeaked by with a victory over Trade Rumors with a sack and fumble recovery at the end of the game by the Packers defense.

The Footballguys squad almost came back behind Pollards late TD but it wasn't enough as the Wild Card Sports team squeaked by with a narrow victory as well.

So the Super Bowl is set ...

Fantasy Asylum vs. Wild Card Sports

One side note to this matchup is both will be without a pair of its stars. The Asylum will be without Brady while Wild Card will play without Antowain Smith (Patriots Bye Week).

    Smack Talking:

Brian Kreklau - Wild Card Sports: "On to the Title game ... Wild Card Sports will be riding a 6 game winning streak into the game. We have lost twice this year to Fantasy Asylum, but that will not deter us. ... Nobody beats a team three times in a season. Ryan will be really regretting the Priest Holmes-Isaac Bruce decision this week."

Ryan Houston - FantasyAsylum.com: "I don't worry about "what-ifs", I worry about "what now". I think after this game you will still be questioning what you could have done differently after I annihilate your squad for the third time this season!"

INSANEX finals analysis by James Quintong: It is one of the most loaded and even matchups I've ever seen in fantasy football, so it's only fitting that both teams are in the finals. Each team has just one weak link – Ryan at QB with the disappointing Elvis Grbac and Brian at RB with Charlie Garner (although he has Priest Holmes as his other back). The receivers are pretty much a wash, although it's impressive to see that Ryan's team is so loaded at receiver that Rod Smith is on the bench. Same goes for tight ends, kickers and defenses.

It will be close match, but I'll give the nod to Ryan has his QB/RB combination of Grbac, Faulk and Ricky Williams beats out Brian's combination of Favre, Garner and Holmes. I wouldn't be surprised if both teams break the 100-point barrier in this game given the talent and the matchups.
