Bulger will start this week after a disastrous week in New York. Bulger completed just 6-of-13 passes for 65 yards and an interception before getting benched in favor of Trent Green. Green hurt his elbow on a tackle and now Bulger is back in the starting role. Stay away from either QB as this offense is a MESS. Yes, the 49ers rank 23rd against the pass, but even that won't help much this week.
Jackson was inactive last week with his quadriceps injury and remains day-to-day this week. He will have to practice at least once this week to play, so watch his progress in practice before committing to him. He's played very little these last three weeks and is killing fantasy teams with this injury. Don't expect much this week as the Rams will miss S-Jax again.
Pittman has filled in for Jackson each of the last three weeks, but has averaged just 3.0 yards per carry as he's also battled a hamstring injury. He had 13 carries for 28 yards last week and isn't a recommended fantasy play even if Jackson is sidelined again. The Niners rank 16th against the run and are playing very aggressively under head coach Mike Singletary, so leave Pittman on your bench for Week 11.
Holt had one early catch for five yards against the Jets last week and then didn't get another catch the rest of the way. The former All-Pro has become a dud in this weak offense as the Rams can't get anything going without Steven Jackson in the mix. Holt is being double-teamed often and with no dominant No. 2 wideout Holt has become a weak fantasy play each week. Expect better numbers this week, but nothing like we used to see from Holt in the past.
After a solid start, the rookie has been shut down the last two weeks, catching a total of just five passes for 55 yards. He was limited to just two catches for 29 yards last week against the Jets, but should bounce back with slightly better numbers this week at San Francisco, and should even kick in 10 yards on the groundd for good measure.
Hill gave the Niners a fighting chance to win on Monday night at Arizona, but then he fell apart down the stretch. Yes, he threw for 217 yards, two TDs and even scrambled and ran without his helmet for a bit. But he also threw two interceptions and forgot to spike the ball in the final minute when the Niners got to the 2-yard-line. He's a mediocre QB whose fantasy value is at its highest this week against a Rams' defense that ranks 26th against the pass and has already given up 13 passing TDs.
Gore just missed his third 100-yard rushing game of the season as he gained 99 yards on Monday night at Arizona on 23 carries. He failed to score a rushing TD for the third straight game and fifth time in the last six games, but thankfully the lowly Rams come to town. The Rams just gave up 206 yards rushing against the Jets and rank 30th against the run with a league-high 15 rushing TDs allowed. Look for Gore to have his best game of the season as the Niners get a win.
Morgan is starting to become the primary target in this offense as he caught his second TD pass in the last three games on Monday night at Arizona. He finished with four catches for 54 yards and scored a TD when he beat one-on-one coverage down the right sideline. He has great athletic skills and is a worthy fantasy pickup for Week 11 and the rest of the games down the stretch as he will continue to get plenty of targets.
Bruce failed to catch a TD pass for the fourth straight game as the Cardinals limited him to one catch for 12 yards on Monday night. He is getting fewer targets as the Niners feature Morgan more in the passing game, so keep your expectations low for Bruce going forward.
Hill filled in for the injured Arnaz Battle and came through with seven catches for 84 yards against Arizona on Monday night. He was solid down the stretch as the Niners almost pulled out the win and should continue as the No. 3 wideout this week. He's a worthy pickup if you need to build WR depth for the playoffs.
Davis came back from his benching in Week 8 and caught an 18-yard TD pass on Monday night at Arizona. It was his only catch of the game, but it was a nice catch in the end zone and became his first TD catch of the season. He's still not fantasy worthy, but give him credit for coming back strong.
The Niners got a special teams TD at Arizona in Week 10 as Allen Rossum took the opening kickoff back 104 yards for a TD. Fantasy-wise, though, the Niners have been weak this year with only 8 TDs and 14 sacks.
