Hill finished with good numbers last week at Dallas, but most of it came in garbage time as Hill was very impatient early on in the red zone. He finished with 303 yards and two TDs, but he's not a viable fantasy option and he won't be of much help this week at Buffalo. Forget about him as the Bills and the weather will hold him down.
Gore was expected to get plenty of work last week vs. Dallas, but instead he had a major dud of a game. Gore was held to just 26 yards on 14 rushes and wasn't even involved in the passing game as he had just one catch for six yards. It was easily his worst game of the season. Expect better numbers this week as the Niners stick with the running game against a Bills' defense that ranks 20th vs. the run.
Just after most fantasy teams cut him, Bruce had a breakout game against Dallas, catching eight passes for 125 yards and a TD. Most of the damage came during garbage time, but it still added up to his best game of the year. Don't get too excited, though, as this week's numbers will fall back down to reality.
For the second straight week, Johnson had four catches for 56 yards. He's not very good, but at least he's consistent. Johnson remains a reserve wideout this week as the Bills rank 16th in the NFL against the pass.
Hill had just one catch for 22 yards last week at Dallas, his worst game since he jumped into the No. 3 role four weeks ago. Leave him on the waiver wire again this week as the Bills will bottle up the Niners at home.
Davis made a beautiful over-the-shoulder grab last week at Dallas, resulting in 47 yards. It was his only grab of the day as he's still not a worthy fantasy play, but it still was a thing of beauty. Keep him on your bench this week once again.
Nedney converted three-of-four FG attempts last week to finish with 10 points and is the one surprise on this offense, scoring 88 points through the Niners' first 11 games. Don't expect that average to hold up this week, however.
Just six days after being a goat against Cleveland, Edwards rallied back and was a hero in the Bills' 54-31 win at Kansas City. Edwards completed 24-of-32 passes for 273 yards and two TDs, and he also rushed for 38 yards and two more TDs. He made it look easy just one week after looking terrible against Cleveland. He's still not a worthy starting fantasy QB -- remember, he has 10 TDs and 10 INTs in 11 games -- but he goes against a Niners' defense that ranks 29th vs. the pass, so another good game can be expected.
Lynch had another good game at Kansas City last week, rushing 20 times for 79 yards and a TD, while adding five catches for 25 yards. He left briefly with a hand injury but had no trouble when he returned. He's now had 15 catches in his last two games and he should have another solid game this week at home, even though the Niners have been tough against the run this year, ranking 14th in the NFL.
Jackson had his second straight productive game, gaining 56 yards on nine carries at Kansas City, while adding 20 yards on two catches. He now has 116 yards rushing in the last two games. Jackson is still a reserve roster player, but it's nice to see him getting more playing time again in Buffalo.
One week after getting shut out by Cleveland, Evans bounced back to catch five passes for 110 yards at Kansas City. Evans still hasn't caught a TD pass in his last five games, but he's now going against a Niners' defense that ranks 29th against the pass and allows over 245 yards per game. Look for a big game from Evans and even a TD.
Reed caught his first TD pass of the season last week at Kansas City, an 8-yard strike late in the third quarter. Reed finished with five catches for 50 yards, which is a good week for him. He's still just a short possession receiver who isn't anything more than a reserve fantasy player, but he should have some success again this week against a poor Niners' pass defense.
Lindell was the goat in the Monday Night loss to Cleveland, but he bounced last week at Kansas City to convert all four field goal attempts and all six extra points to finish with a season-high 18 points. He's having a career season and already has 97 points in 11 games.
Buffalo's defense has been brutal for fantasy owners this year, but last week it was stellar at Kansas City, forcing five turnovers and adding three sacks. This is another week for the Bills' defense to shine, so be prepared.
