Fitzpatrick performed admirably in the Bengals' 20-13 win over Washington last week, completing 16-of-29 passes for 209 yards and one TD, while adding 29 yards on 11 scrambles. He's looked better recently, but with only three TD passes in the last five games, he shouldn't be active on any fantasy playoff rosters during championship week. In the Week 4 20-12 loss to Cleveland, Fitzpatrick completed just 21-of-35 passes for 156 yards, one TD and three INTs and similar results can be expected this week against the Browns' 15th ranked pass defense.
Benson set a career high with 161 total yards last week against a solid Redskins' defense as he gained 73 yards on 21 carries and added 88 yards on three receptions. He still hasn't scored a TD since Week 9 -- his only TD of the season -- but last week's effort was encouraging. The Browns rank 28th against the run, so Benson should put up solid numbers again, but it's unlikely that he's part of many fantasy playoff teams during Week 16.
Houshmandzadeh has had a disappointing season without QB Carson Palmer and the end of the season can't come soon enough for this proud veteran. He was limited to just three catches for 19 yards last week against Washington and has just one TD catch in his last nine games and none in his last four games. He's a worthy play this week, but keep your expectations low.
Johnson has been a dud for fantasy owners this year as he's scored in just three games and has 0 TDs in his last four games. He was limited to three catches for 33 yards last week vs. Washington, but did have three catches for 28 yards and a TD in the Week 4 loss to Cleveland. He's been a dud and remains an iffy play in Week 16.
Henry caught his first TD pass of the season last week in the 20-13 win over Washington, a 12-yard first quarter strike from Fitzpatrick. He finished with four catches for 54 yards, but that success will be short-lived as Henry shouldn't be active on any fantasy playoff rosters this week.
Kelly was held to one catch for three yards last week vs. Washington and shouldn't be active on any fantasy playoff rosters in Week 16. During the Week 4 loss to Cleveland, Kelly finished with three catches for 21 yards.
Graham scored eight points last week -- his third highest game of the season -- to give him a whopping 66 points this season. Forget about him as he shouldn't be active on any fantasy playoff roster this week.
The Bengals forced two fumbles last week in the win over Washington, one of their best defensive efforts of the season. This is a putrid fantasy defense, nonetheless, as it has only eight interceptions and 13 sacks in 14 games.
In his second start for the Browns, Dorsey completed only 11-of-28 passes for 156 yards and two INTs on Monday night at Philadelphia. He's definitely not a worthy fantasy QB, but unfortunately the lack of a passing game also hurts Jamal Lewis, Braylon Edwards and the rest of the skill players. Good thing the Browns are playing the Bungles this week.
As defenses stack the line of scrimmage now without a deep passing threat, Lewis has been unable to generate anything in the past few weeks. He was held to 32 yards on 14 carries on Monday night at Philadelphia and now has just 39 yards rushing on 21 carries in the last two games. He did gain 79 yards with a TD in the Week 4 win over Cincinnati, but that seems like a lifetime ago. If the Browns are going to win at home, Lewis will have to carry the load.
Edwards topped 100 yards for the third straight time this season and all three games have occurred on Monday Night Football. Dorsey targeted him early and Edwards finished with five catches for 102 yards with all five catches leading to first downs. It's obvious that Dorsey is looking mainly for Edwards, so expect another good game from him this week against a Bengals' pass defense that ranks 19th in the NFL and has already given up 22 TD passes.
TE Steve Heiden was carted off the field on Monday night with a leg injury and Dinkins had to come in to replace him. He finished with one catch for six yards. This position has been one big mess for the Browns this year as they already lost TE Kellen Winslow Jr. for the rest of the season because of injury.
Dawson was held to four points on Monday night at Philadelphia and now has only 25 points in the Browns' last four games. He's not a recommended play for Week 16 with the Browns so banged up on offense.
