Fantasy Player Projections

Buffalo Bills
Land Shark Stadium | Sunday, October 04 | 4:05 p.m. EST (CBS)
Pick: Dolphins 17, Bills 10
Miami Dolphins
Pos.PlayerProjection
QBTrent Edwards
225 pass yards, 1 pass TD, 1 INT
Edwards seemed tentative and conservative in Week 3 against the Saints and the results were not very good. He'll need to lighten up and take some shots down the field to be worth a fantasy start.
RBMarshawn Lynch
4 rec, 40 rec yards, 80 rush yards
The do-everything back returns to the fold after serving a three-game suspension. He expects to play Sunday against Miami, but you'll need to monitor the situation to figure out just how much we can expect to see him.
RBFred Jackson
2 rec, 20 rec yards, 25 rush yards
Jackson has shone in Lynch's absense, but should return to a supporting role upon his return.
WRTerrell Owens
4 rec, 70 yards, 1 TD
The deafening silence of T.O. intensifies as the Bills struggle. Buffalo coach Dick Jauron insists the team will try to get T.O. more balls thrown his way.
WRLee Evans
3 rec, 35 yards
Many thought Evans would benefit from the addition of T.O. but that's not what seems to be happening. Evans has caught just eight balls for 89 yards and one touchdown in three games.
WRJosh Reed
3 rec, 30 yards
Reed is growing in the No. 3 wideout role quite nicely in Buffalo. But the value to your fantasy team is very small.
TEDerek Fine
4 rec, 30 yards
Fine enjoyed a modest breakout in Week 3 with five catches for 34 yards ... but those numbers are hardly fantasy worthy.
KRian Lindell
1 PAT, 1 FG
Lindell followed up a 15-point outing with just one lousy PAT in Week 4. The lesson? Find yourself a more consistent kicker.
Defense
2 sacks, 2 INT
Good matchup here and Buffalo's defense is better than advertised.
Pos.PlayerProjection
QBChad Henne
175 pass yards, 1 pass TD, 2 INT
With Chad Pennington out for the season, it's Henne's turn to shine.
RBRonnie Brown
3 rec, 35 rec yards, 75 rush yards, 1 rush TD
Brown is experiencing success in the Wildcat formation and Miami's base offense. He's worth a start in any fantasy format.
RBRicky Williams
2 rec, 20 rec yards, 40 rush yards
Williams is a deep flex option at best, despite the occasion touchdown or brilliant play out of the Wildcat formation.
WRTed Ginn Jr.
5 rec, 80 yards, 1 TD
Week 2: 11 catches fpr 108 yards. Week 3: Zero catches with two dropped passes. That's pretty much everything you need to know.
WRDavone Bess
3 rec, 35 yards
Workmanlike attitude. Modest production. Minimal fantasy value.
TEAnthony Fasano
1 rec, 5 yards
No value whatsoever. Stay far away.
KDan Carpenter
2 PATs, 1 FG
Carpenter just doesn't make much sense when there's plenty of better kickers on the open market.
Defense
2 sacks, 1 INT
One of just three NFL teams without an interception, the Dolphins have created just one turnover (a forced fumble). Go elsewhere for a defense.
