Rivers had a good game on MNF, but nothing spectacular. He's still a top tier fantasy QB and certainly an advisable start against a Kansas City team that has had trouble stopping QBs other than Jason Campbell.
Jackson had his least productive game of the season against the Broncos, only catching 4 passes for 46 yards and 1 TD. He was battling Champ Bailey all game against the Broncos and has no such adversary on the Chiefs. He's a very good fantasy option, a definite No. 1 WR against the Chiefs 25th ranked pass D.
Gates had 5 catches for 70 yards against the Broncos and was the Bolts leading receiver. He is a must start fantasy option, with 29 catches and at least 5 in each game, he is one of the top TEs in the league, especially against a poor KC D.
The Chargers D has been lousy all year, getting their rears handed to them again by the Broncos on MNF. That said, they're a decent bye week replacement against the lackluster Chiefs offense. Also, Darren Sproles is a risk to take any kickoff or punt to the house, as he did with a 77 yarder against the Broncos.
In getting his first win against the Skins, Cassel made very few mistakes. He went 17/32 for 186 yards with nary a TD or a pick. His 109 passing yards to Dwayne Bowe against the Skins are encouraging. With 7 TDs and only 2 INT on the year, Cassel doesn't look like he'll hurt you as a flex option especially against an average San Diego pass D.
LJ went for 83 yards on 22 carries against the Skins. There's a lot of mileage on these tires though and Johnson has neither a TD nor a 100-yard game on the year. He's a No. 3 fantasy option against the poor Chargers' run D. Will this be the week that he finally breaks through?
This talented 3rd year wideout had his best week of the year against the Skins, catching 6 balls for 109 yards. He's got 11 catches for 183 yards the last two weeks and 3 TD s on the year. He's a big red zone target against a mediocre pass defense, and is a recommended No. 2 fantasy WR.
Ryan's had an erratic season. He had only 1 catch for 11 yards against the Skins and similarly, had only 1 catch in each of the first two games. He did have 9 catches in Weeks 3 and 4 including a TD. He was targeted a team high 7 times vs. NYG Week 5 has 2 TDs on the year. He's viable as a No. 2 TE or a bye week replacement.
Pronounced like it's spelled, Succop has missed 1 kick all year (9/10). He had a great week against the Skins with four FGs. 2009's Mr. Irrelevant is becoming a decent start, especially with Cassel's conservative red zone play.
