Fantasy Player Projections

Miami Dolphins
Giants Stadium | Sunday, November 01 | 1:00 p.m. EST (CBS)
Pick: Jets 24, Dolphins 20
New York Jets
QBChad Henne
190 pass yards, 1 pass TD, 1 INT
Henne played great last time out against the Jets, going 20/26 with 241yards and 2 TDs. He's an efficient game manager that's going to be relied on to not screw up and let his RBs control the time of possession. He had a brutal week against New Orleans, throwing 2 picks which were returned for TDs. He's a decent enough flex or bye week option against a Jets team that had trouble stopping him a few weeks ago.
RBRonnie Brown
70 rec yards, 1 rec TD
Seventh in the NFL in rushing, and third in TDs (with 7), Ronnie Brown got into the end zone again last week vs. the Saints, despite only gaining 48 yards. Against the Jets three weeks ago, Brown had 74 yards and 2 TDs, as well as 3 catches for 14 yards. Even though he splits carries with Ricky Williams, the Dolphins run game (and its many looks) is nasty, and Brown is a low end No. 1, high end No. 2 fantasy RB option.
RBRicky Williams
3 rec, 40 rec yards, 65 rush yards, 1 rush TD
Ricky has proved himself effective and very willing to share the rock. Williams rushed the ball 9 times for 80 yards with 3 TDs against the Saints. He also had 2 catches for 12 yards. Against the Jets on October 12, Williams had 138 totally yards. He's a No. 2 fantasy RB and a pretty good start against the fish.
WRTed Ginn Jr.
2 rec, 40 yards
Ah, where to be-Ginn? He had 11 catches Week 2 for 108 yards and had 57 yards and a TD last time out against the Jets. Other than those two games, he's been brutal. He had two very big drops against the Saints, one of which led to a Darren Sharper pick 6. You don't want to be starting him.
WRDavone Bess
2 rec, 25 yards
Bess had 3 catches for 18 yards against the Jets the first time around and 3 catches for 13 yards last week against the Saints with a fumble lost. This should remind you of fundamental truths in this world. Never get involved in a land war in Asia. Don't go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line. Don't start a Dolphins wideout.
TEAnthony Fasano
1 rec, 15 yards
His 3 catches (for 21 yards) against the Saints. equaled the 4 catches he had on the year. He ‘s scored a single TD on the year and is an inadvisable start under any circumstances.
KDan Carpenter
2 PATs, 2 FGs
Ol' Carpie's hit 9 for 10 on the year, including a 2 for 2 against the Saints, but doesn't merit more than low-end fantasy consideration as he doesn't get all that many attempts.
2 sacks, 1 INT
This Dolphins unit 13th in YPG and 26th in PPG after getting a bomb dropped on them by Drew Brees. They are not a recommended unit against a Jets team that had very little trouble scoring against them a few weeks ago.
QBMark Sanchez
145 pass yards, 1 pass TD, 1 INT
The King of New York got back in the W column with a solid, but unspectacular performance against the Raiders. He was 9/15 with 143 yards and a TD. The Jets have the best running game in the league and he doesn't need to do a lot to succeed. He also misses Jerricho Cotchery a lot. He's a No.2 fantasy QB and a decent flex or bye week guy who had 172 yards with a TD and no picks against the Dolphins October 12.
RBThomas Jones
85 rush yards, 1 rush TD
Jones followed his monster game against the Bills (210 yards, 1 TD) by crushing it again in Oakland (26 carries for 121 yards and a TD). He's now third in the league in rushing (602 yards) with7 TDs. He's No. 1 fantasy RB, even against the 4th ranked Dolphins rush defense (who he scored 2 TDs against in Miami).
RBShonn Greene
50 rush yards, 1 rush TD
When Leon Washington broke his leg early against Oakland, the rookie came in and absolutely killed it. Greene carried 19 times for 144 yards and drove it down the throat of the helpless Raiders. Greene is a No. 3 option as he's sure to have a tougher time in his second game as Jones' backup.
WRJerricho Cotchery
5 rec, 60 yards
The absence of Jerricho ‘Knee to the' Cotchery in the lineup the last couple weeks has really hurt the Jets. If he's back this week, he could be a big factor in the game. He had really developed a rapport with Sanchez, averaging 90 YPG in his first four games. He is a No. 3 fantasy WR but monitor his health status throughout the week.
WRBraylon Edwards
3 rec, 50 yards, 1 TD
Edwards was arraigned on misdemeanor assault charges on Monday, the day after catching 1 pass for 14 yards against the Raiders. He will be helped when Cotchery is back in the lineup. He's a No. 3 fantasy WR with a pretty high upside if Sanchez can return to form. He had 5 catches for 64 yards and 1 TD against the Dolphins last time.
TEDustin Keller
2 rec, 35 yards
Dustin had 94 yards Week 1 and has fallen dramatically since then. He had 1 catch for 26 yards against the Raiders and is no longer considered a No.1 fantasy TE with only 15 catches and 213 yards on the season. Consider Keller a low level No. 2 TE with minimal bye week cache.
KJay Feely
3 PATs, 1 FG
Old touchy Feely is 11 for 13 on the year. He missed a 38 yarder against the Raiders. He's a lower level No. 1 kicker, top ten in the league in both FGs, PATs and attempts.
3 sacks, 2 INT
They're 4th in the league in PPG and 10th in YPG. Despite losing Kris Brown, they dominated the Raiders last week with 2 INTs, 2 FF and 3 sacks. They're an average starting option here though, against a Dolphins team that scored 31 points against them October 12th.
