Delhomme threw a pick for the first time in four games against the Dolphins, going 19-of-42 for 227 yards and 1 TD and 1 INT. With 8 TDs and 14 INTs on the year, he's a lousy option against a tough Jets' secondary.
Despite backfield mate Jonathan Stewart getting 12 carries to his 13, Williams is playing like the No. 1 fantasy RB we all thought he was. He had 13 carries for 122 yards against the Fish. He's gone over 120 yards four times in the past six games. He's fourth in the league in rushing with 982 yards and a very good start against the Jets 17th-ranked run D.
Taking time off from hosting 'The Daily Show,' Stewart has been having a very strong game every other week for the last six games. Last week was his off week, carrying 12 times for just 42 yards. During the three good games, he has 279 yards with 5 TD. By the transitive rule of fantasy every-other-week goodness, Stewart is due for a big one against the Jets.
Smith caught 7 balls for 87 yards against Miami with 1 TD. He's gotten in the end zone four times in the last four games. He's a lower-tier No. 2 option, or a heady No. 3. Like T.O., he could bust out over the next couple weeks. Would not be surprised to see Smith go for his fifth straight 1,000-yard season, despite the slow start.
The Mus couldn't get loose against the Dolphins, catching just 3 balls for 27 yards. It came just one week after Muhammad posted his best game of the year against Atlanta, catching 6 balls for 91 yards. He's had a very mediocre year thus far, catching 33 balls for 330 yards with no TDs. Not a passable fantasy option.
They are the 25th-best unit in the league in PPG. They gave up 326 yards and 24 points to the mediocre Dolphins last week. They're not an advisable start, even in this good matchup.
The Sanchize had yet another tough afternoon against the Pats, going 8-of-21 for 136 yards with 1 TD and 4 INTs in the Jets' bad loss. He's shown a whole lot of growing pains recently, with 5 TDs against 11 INTs over the past five games. He's no longer a sound fantasy start at this point.
Jones has hit the century mark in four of his past five games after a 21-carry, 103-yard performance at Foxboro. He's now sixth in the league in rushing (884 yards) with 8 TDs. He's an easy choice as a No. 1 fantasy RB against the 26th-ranked Panthers' rush defense.
Jerricho 'Knee to the' Cotchery caught 3 balls for 84 yards against the Pats with a TD for the second consecutive game. He's had a tough time because of his QB's struggles, but he's developed a rapport with the kid. He is a No. 3 fantasy WR, not a terrible start against Carolina.
Edwards caught just 1 pass for 10 yards against the Pats. Both of his TDs this year were against Miami. He's a low-end No. 3 fantasy WR with an upside, definitely less valuable than the Cotch Man.
Dustin had 3 catches for 38 yards against the Jags in Week 10. He has 17 catches in his past three games, and might be blossoming into the TE you thought you had when you drafted him.
Old touchy Feely didn't have a FG attempt against the Pats, one week after going 3-for-3 against Jacksonville. He's 16-for-18 on the year. He kicked a 55-yarder against Miami, going 2-for-2 in the game before. He's a No. 1 kicker, eighth in the league in FGs made.
Ranking ninth in the league in PPG and 11th in YPG, Rex Ryan's unit has been a decent start all year. That said, they're going to have trouble stopping the Panthers' running game and Sanchez's difficulties may keep them on the field a long time. They're more of a high-end No. 2 defense here.
