Fantasy Player Projections

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Candlestick Park | Sunday, November 21 | 4:05 p.m. EST (FOX)
Pick: 49ers 21, Buccaneers 17
San Francisco 49ers
Pos.PlayerProjection
QBJosh Freeman
215 pass yards, 1 pass TD, 15 rush yards
Freeman is coming off his best game of the season and faces an only average 49ers pass defense in Week 11. However, Freeman's overall production still makes him only a fringe option in standard leagues.
RBLeGarrette Blount
65 rush yards
The 49ers have been pretty good against the run, but Blount should see enough carries to be a fantasy factor in most formats.
RBCarnell Williams
4 rec, 30 rec yards, 20 rush yards
Williams had a decent game a week ago, but he has not seen more than eight carries in any of his last four games. Do not expect him to see enough carries to be productive against the 49ers' 10th-ranked run defense.
WRMike Williams
4 rec, 95 yards, 1 TD
Williams has been a steady producer this season, and he should put up decent numbers again this week against a vulnerable 49ers pass defense.
WRArrelious Benn
4 rec, 50 yards
Benn has reached the end zone in two straight games, so he could be worth a start in deeper leagues this week.
TEKellen Winslow
3 rec, 30 yards
Winslow had his most productive game of the season a week ago, but do not expect much from him this week against a 49ers defense that has done a good job containing opposing tight ends.
KConnor Barth
2 PATs, 1 FG
Barth has not been very consistent this season, so go with a safer option if you are looking for a kicker.
Defense
2 sacks, 1 INT
Tampa Bay's defense has forced 19 turnovers and scored three defensive touchdowns, but they are only an average option against a 49ers offense that has played better of late.
Pos.PlayerProjection
QBTroy Smith
160 pass yards, 5 rush yards
Smith will remain the starting quarterback this week, but he will be tested by a Tampa Bay defense that is eighth in the league against the pass. Smith's value will likely be restricted to two-QB leagues.
RBFrank Gore
3 rec, 30 rec yards, 120 rush yards, 1 rush TD
The Buccaneers are allowing the second-most rushing yards per game in the league this season, so expect a big outing from Gore in Week 11.
WRMichael Crabtree
4 rec, 40 yards, 1 TD
Crabtree has scored in four of the last five weeks, so he is a good option this week even against a stiff Tampa Bay pass defense.
WRJosh Morgan
2 rec, 35 yards
Morgan hauled in a long pass last week, but he is not seeing enough targets to warrant a start against the Bucanners.
TEVernon Davis
3 rec, 40 yards, 1 TD
Davis got back on track last week so make sure he is in your lineup for Week 11.
KJoe Nedney
3 PATs
Nedney scored a season-high 11 points last week, but he had topped six points only once in eight games prior.
Defense
2 sacks, 1 INT
San Francisco's defense has been better in recent weeks, but they will have trouble doing much against an efficient Tampa Bay offense.
