Fantasy Player Projections

1panthersCam Newton

Cam Newton

293 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT, 54 rush yards, rush TD

Newton had four interceptions last week, but also totaled three touchdowns, one passing and two running. He is simply impossible to contain in the red zone, and will have a very strong chance to run all over the Colts on Sunday.

2packersAaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers

252 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, 28 rush yards

Even when Rodgers has a quote, bad game, he still is able to put up great numbers against Tampa Bay. Look for him to come out firing against the Lions, especially if James Starks is unable to play.

3cowboysTony Romo

Tony Romo

296 pass yards, 2 pass TDs,

Romo was excellent last week against the Redskins, throwing for 292 yards and three TDs. He is spreading the ball around with Miles Austin still out and he now faces a Dolphins' defense that is ranked 25th against the pass.

4saintsDrew Brees

Drew Brees

336 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

The Giants just allowed Vince Young to beat them while on the road, so it wouldn't seem too hard for Brees to knock the G-Men out at home. Sean Payton's game plan for this one will be fun to watch.

5falconsMatt Ryan

Matt Ryan

285 pass yards, 2 pass TDs,

Ryan has thrown six touchdowns over the past three games while topping 300 yards in the last two, and couldn't ask for a much better matchup to extend that streak. The Vikings are a bottom five pass defense this season.

6lionsMatthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford

330 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Stafford started shaky, but finished strong to the tune of five touchdowns last week against the Panthers. Only Aaron Rodgers has more touchdown passes than Stafford's 25 this year, and both will have no problem adding to those totals this week.

7broncosTim Tebow

Tim Tebow

122 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 52 rush yards, rush TD

If fantasy stats were only accumulated in the last five minutes of games, Tebow would be this season's MVP. Unfortunately, fantasy owners have to endure the 55 minutes of mediocrity and hope Tebow can sneak one into the end zone before he takes over.

8patriotsTom Brady

Tom Brady

301 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Brady's excellent season continued last week against the Chiefs and he now has thrown multiple TDs in every game but one this year. The Eagles' secondary is very talented, but Brady remains one of the best QBs in the league.

9giantsEli Manning

Eli Manning

291 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Manning didn't have a great game last week against the Eagles, only his third game of the season without multiple TDs. The Giants could emphasize the passing game this week in New Orleans, which means Manning's numbers should be up again.

10steelersBen Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger

265 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Big Ben is going to play with a broken thumb, but since last week was the Steelers' bye, it is tough to gauge how much it will affect him. It would be expected that the Steelers would dial down their pass-heavy scheme at bit though.

11eaglesVince Young

Vince Young

285 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, 2 INTs, 11 rush yards

Young did a decent job last week against the Giants, throwing for 258 yards and two TDs, though he also had three INTs. He may be able to have a better time this week against a Patriots' pass defense that is ranked last in the NFL.

12chargersPhilip Rivers

Philip Rivers

303 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, 2 INTs

After last week's game against the Bears, Rivers has now thrown multiple INTs in 7-of-10 games this year. He now faces an improving Broncos' defense that will bring plenty of pressure from Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller, who destroyed the Jets last week.

13buccaneersJosh Freeman

Josh Freeman

275 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 12 rush yards

Freeman is coming off his most impressive game of the season against the Packers, but given his up and down season, he'll need to back it up against the Titans to prove he is off the schneid.

14vikingsChristian Ponder

Christian Ponder

202 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 35 rush yards

Ponder will now get to see what life is like without the best running back in the league; it is not going to be pretty for the rookie.

15ravensJoe Flacco

Joe Flacco

264 pass yards, pass TD, INT

It is easier to beat the Niners with the pass than on the ground, so the Ravens may be airing it out more this week. Hopefully it will increase Flacco's pedestrian like numbers this season.

16bengalsAndy Dalton

Andy Dalton

225 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 11 rush yards

Dalton was knocked out of his first matchup with the Browns with an injury, but was impressive before that. This one has the feel of a Cedric Benson day though, with the Browns having trouble stopping anyone in the run game.

17redskinsRex Grossman

Rex Grossman

245 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Grossman had a good game for fantasy owners last week against the Cowboys, passing for 289 yards and two TDs, along with ten rushing yards and another score. He'll be expected to do as much with his arm this week, thanks to a good Seahawks' run defense.

18titansMatt Hasselbeck

Matt Hasselbeck

235 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Hasselbeck is dealing with an elbow strain, but he has a tasty matchup against a bottom five secondary.

19raidersCarson Palmer

Carson Palmer

234 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Palmer has had multiple TDs in each of the last three games and is clearly getting more comfortable with the Raiders' playbook. He faces a Bears' defense this week that is ranked 30th against the pass.

20jetsMark Sanchez

Mark Sanchez

234 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Sanchez is getting a lot of flak for the Jets' recent losing streak and his fantasy owners are a little disappointed too. With three TDs and four INTs in the last three games, Sanchez needs to be careful against a Bills' defense that is second in INTs.

21cardinalsJohn Skelton

John Skelton

185 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 12 rush yards

Skelton was so bad last week against the 49ers that he was replaced mid-game for Richard Bartel. With Kevin Kolb still aching, Skelton will get another shot.

2249ersAlex Smith

Alex Smith

179 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 14 rush yards

Smith was effective again last week, passing for 267 yards and two TDs in another 49ers win. It gets much tougher now preparing for the Ravens' seventh ranked pass defense on a short week.

23dolphinsMatt Moore

Matt Moore

204 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Moore was very effective last week against the Bills, throwing for 160 yards and three TDs. The Dallas' defense is ranked 13th against the pass this season, but just gave up 289 yards and two passing TDs to Rex Grossman.

24texansMatt Leinart

Matt Leinart

185 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Leinart steps in for the injured Matt Schaub, with a tough matchup off the bat. Leinart will take the occasional shot to Andre Johnson (now back), but for the most part the Texans are expected to remain a running team.

25ramsSam Bradford

Sam Bradford

185 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Bradford failed to throw for 200 yards last week against the Seahawks, the fifth time he's done that this season. In addition, he has yet to throw more than one TD in a game, though he has a nice matchup this week against the 27th-ranked pass defense.

26seahawksTarvaris Jackson

Tarvaris Jackson

175 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Jackson had a pretty weak performance for fantasy owners last week against the Rams, passing for 148 yards, one TD and two INTs. The Redskins' boast a top-10 pass defense and aren't likely to represent an easier task for Jackson this week.

27bearsCaleb Hanie

Caleb Hanie

185 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs

Hanie has just 34 career pass attempts, and obviously is a significant downgrade from Jay Cutler. The offense was tweaked over the past month or so to revolve around Cutler's strengths, so anything but a run-heavy approach now seems optimistic.

28brownsColt McCoy

Colt McCoy

180 pass yards, INT, 11 rush yards

McCoy threw for two touchdowns and 213 yards against the Bengals in Week 1, but is now dealing with some sort of right (throwing) arm injury. He finished the game against Jacksonville with little problem, but it is something to monitor.

29coltsCurtis Painter

Curtis Painter

146 pass yards, INT, 22 rush yards

A starter has yet to be chosen, but Painter seems to be on thin ice after being pulled last time out. He has topped 98 pass yards just once the past four games, and has zero touchdowns to six picks in that time as well.

30billsRyan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzpatrick

184 pass yards, 2 INTs, 14 rush yards

Fitzpatrick has really struggled ever since he faced the Jets in Week 9 and he gets them again this week after their crushing loss to the Broncos. With seven INTs and two TDs in the last three games, Fitzpatrick may opt to let Fred Jackson carry the load.

31chiefsTyler Palko

Tyler Palko

175 pass yards, 2 INTs

Palko struggled in his first start last week against the Patriots, passing for 236 yards and three INTs. It will get much harder this week against a Steelers' defense that is ranked third in the NFL against the pass.

32jaguarsBlaine Gabbert

Blaine Gabbert

112 pass yards, INT

It took Gabbert 41 throws and 22 completions just to get to 210 yards last week, and with just six touchdowns to five interceptions this season, it doesn't look like the arrow will go up anytime soon.

Dan Orlovsky

0 pass yards,

As sad as it sounds, Orlovsky could be the Colts' best option at quarterback. He replaced Painter in Week 10, and completed 7-of-10 passes for 67 yards. Right now though, the decision looks up in the air for Sunday.

Likely out of the rest of the regular season.

48seahawksCharlie Whitehurst

49cardinalsKevin Kolb

Kevin Kolb

0 pass yards,

The Cardinals are desperate for Kolb's return after John Skelton's miserable performance last week against the 49ers that led him to be replaced mid-game by Richard Bartel. The Rams boast a top-10 pass defense, which makes for a tough return for Kolb.

Bartel had a fairly decent performance last week against the 49ers, completing 8-of-16 passes for 64 yards and a TD in place of the ineffective John Skelton.

Locker came in to relieve an injured Matt Hasselbeck last week and threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns, but the veteran QB is back in the saddle.
