Fantasy Player Projections

QBMatt Schaub

Matt Schaub

225 pass yards, 2 pass TDs

Schaub will be facing a reeling Jets defense, so the veteran slinger should continue his strong 2012 campaign. With Darrelle Revis out and a slow Jets secondary in front of him, Schaub is poised for a solid outing.

RBArian Foster

Arian Foster

111 rush yards, 2 rush TDs, 4 rec, 22 rec yards

Foster has been the go-to fantasy back for a third consecutive season, and he should have a field day against a team ranked second-to-last in run defense. The Jets surrender almost five yards per carry and that should bode well for one of the AFC’s elite rushers.

RBBen Tate

Ben Tate

43 rush yards, 3 rec, 18 rec yards

The Texans like using Tate on third down and inside the red zone, and he should have some operating room against the Jets. Tate was effectively shut down last week against the Titans, but the Jets' run defense has had trouble stopping anybody. If the Texans start stringing together long drives, Tate may get looks close to the goal line.

WRAndre Johnson

Andre Johnson

5 rec, 85 yards, rec TD

Johnson has only caught eight balls for 139 yards over his last three games after an eight-catch, 119-yard outburst to open the season against Miami. Johnson will probably see plenty of Antonio Cromartie Sunday since Darrelle Revis is out. Still, Johnson is sure to be heavily targeted and make catches.

WRKevin Walter

Kevin Walter

3 rec, 19 yards

Walter's production has been down a bit this year, but he has gotten in the end zone once and broken off a 52-yard catch. There is nothing to indicate that Walter should do much differently.

TEOwen Daniels

Owen Daniels

5 rec, 51 yards, rec TD

Daniels remains an established tight end threat, and has strung together a series of impressive games this season. He has emerged as Matt Schaub's second-best receiving option, and already has 20 catches and two touchdowns this season.

KShayne Graham

Shayne Graham

4 PATs, FG

Houston's fast offense has given Graham several opportunities at points. While he isn't the best kicker from distance, he should be kicking plenty of extra points this coming Monday.

2 INTs, 3 Sacks

Brooks Reed and J.J. Watt have given the defense a new face without Mario Williams, and they will likely be all after Mark Sanchez. With the Jets losing Santonio Holmes and failing to establish a consistent passing game, the Texans could very well be in for a field day if the Jets can't run the ball.

QBMark Sanchez

Mark Sanchez

140 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs

There have been plenty of calls to bench Sanchez, but it's hard to blame the guy for struggling against a quality defense like the Niners. The problem is that the Texans are a quality unit, too, and now Sanchez is lacking his best receiving target. There won't be many openings for Sanchez on this night.

RBShonn Greene

Shonn Greene

35 rush yards, 2 rec, 8 rec yards

Greene has not eclipsed more than 40 yards in his last three outings. He is still good for some hard yards, but he has not emerged as the feature back that many thought he would be. Greene won't see many easy yards against the Texans.

RBBilal Powell

Bilal Powell

29 rush yards

The Jets are clearly trying to get Powell more carries after his strong performance in Miami. If Greene continues to struggle, Powell's workload could go up.

WRJeremy Kerley

Jeremy Kerley

4 rec, 32 yards, rec TD

If there is any silver lining for Jets' fans in the wake of Santonio Holmes' season-ending injury, it is that Kerley is getting more playing time. He's fast over the middle, so Mark Sanchez may try and get some quick screens and slants in his direction. His touchdown scamper against Miami is still fresh in people's minds and he has the potential to benefit the most from Holmes' injury.

WRChaz Schilens

Chaz Schilens

6 rec, 52 yards

Schilens becomes the top target now that Santonio Holmes is down. It remains to be seen how well he can embrace this type of role, but Tony Sparano more or less does not have a choice at this point. Schilens will inevitably be targeted since he is one of the few capable receivers that can play wide.

TEJeff Cumberland

Jeff Cumberland

2 rec, 11 yards

Cumberland is not Dustin Keller; he is more of a blocking tight end. The Jets will probably throw the ball his way a couple times in short-yardage situations.

KNick Folk

Nick Folk

Folk didn't get any work last weekend and there won't be much more this week. Folk is not the most viable fantasy option.

2 Sacks

The Texans have protected Matt Schaub well, and the Jets defense is significantly worse without Darrelle Revis. It's hard to believe the Jets will force the ball on the ground or get any interceptions considering the injury toll.
