QBJosh Freeman

Josh Freeman

225 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs, 20 rush yards

Freeman ended up with one of the best games of his career against the Saints, throwing for 420 yards and three touchdowns. He's had several good weeks recently, but the Vikings have a top-10 pass defense and have allowed only eight passing touchdowns so far.

RBDoug Martin

Doug Martin

55 rush yards, rush TD, 3 rec, 35 rec yards

Martin rushed 16 times against the Saints in Week 7, for 85 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three passes and has proven to be a big-play back when he gets enough touches. The Vikings are solid against the rush, but Martin is still a good fantasy option.

RBLeGarrette Blount

LeGarrette Blount

10 rush yards

Blount saw little action against the Saints, and rightfully so, with five carries for minus-two yards. Doug Martin is fully entrenched as the top option for Tampa Bay on the ground.

WRVincent Jackson

Vincent Jackson

6 rec, 80 yards, rec TD

Jackson broke out with seven catches for 218 yards and a touchdown against the Saints. A big game was expected -- but not that big. Even without the 95-yard touchdown catch, he still had a big day. He's a good WR2 in Week 8 at Minnesota.

WRMike Williams

Mike Williams

4 rec, 55 yards

Mike Williams followed up his big game with a four-catch, 36-yard performance against the Saints. Despite his breakout games, he's still more of a WR3 or flex option than reliable stud.

TEDallas Clark

Dallas Clark

2 rec, 20 yards

The Bucs went to Clark a lot in Week 7 as the second option through the air against New Orleans. He caught five passes for 51 yards and a touchdown, but he's still a risky start in fantasy play because the Bucs don't use tight ends in the passing game regularly.

KConnor Barth

Connor Barth

2 PATs, 2 FGs

While Barth missed his only field goal attempt, he was able to connect on four extra points in the Bucs' loss to New Orleans. Barth is a bye-week replacement option at Minnesota.

DEFENSE

INT

After a big showing against the Chiefs in Week 6, the Buccaneers' defense fell back to earth against the Saints in Week 7. The Bucs will face a pretty good offense on the road in Minnesota, so look elsewhere for fantasy help.

QBChristian Ponder

Christian Ponder

245 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT, 15 rush yards

It was a rough day for the second-year quarterback against a tough Cardinals defense in Week 7. Despite throwing for just 58 yards on the day, Ponder is still someone to consider against the Buccaneers in Week 8. The Bucs have allowed the second-most passing yards per game this year.

RBAdrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson

80 rush yards, rush TD, 5 rec, 45 rec yards

Peterson had another vintage game against Arizona in Week 7, rushing for 153 yards and a touchdown. After Arian Foster and Ray Rice, it's tough to find a better fantasy back than Peterson right now.

RBToby Gerhart

Toby Gerhart

12 rush yards, 1 rec, 10 rec yards

Gerhart rushed just one time for one yard against the Cardinals in Week 7. Adrian Peterson has proven to be healthy enough to lean on almost entirely in the running game, making Gerhart nothing better than a handcuff.

WRPercy Harvin

Percy Harvin

7 rec, 90 yards, rec TD

The Cardinals did a decent job holding Harvin in check in Week 7, allowing just four catches for 37 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed twice for 10 yards. Harvin's speed will be put on display against an erratic Bucs pass defense in Week 8.

WRJerome Simpson

Jerome Simpson

4 rec, 40 yards

Simpson had a quiet day against the Cardinals in Week 7. He's coming back from injury and isn't really much of a fantasy option so far.

TEKyle Rudolph

Kyle Rudolph

5 rec, 55 yards, rec TD

Don't be too alarmed by Rudolph's goose egg against the Cardinals. The Vikings leaned heavily on the running game, and Rudolph only got four targets -- his lowest amount of the season. He'll do much better against a weak Bucs secondary in Week 8.

KBlair Walsh

Blair Walsh

3 PATs, 3 FGs

Walsh never got a chance to kick a field goal against the Cardinals in Week 7, but fantasy owners should stick with the rookie against the Buccaneers in Week 8. Only four other kickers have more field-goal attempts than Walsh.

DEFENSE

2 INTs, Sack

The Vikings forced two turnovers in Week 7 against Arizona, but the Buccaneers' offense is a little stronger than the Cardinals'. Even so, the Vikings have four 20-plus point performances in their past five games. Keep them active for Week 8.
