| Pos. | Player | Projection |
| QB | ![]() |
Russell Wilson222 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 14 rush yards
Among quarterbacks who haven't missed time due to injury, Wilson ranks last in passing yardage. He's currently a game manager, not a difference maker -- and not someone fantasy owners should start. |
| RB | ![]() |
Marshawn Lynch78 rush yards, rush TD, 2 rec, 26 rec yards
Lynch has not contributed much as a receiver this season, but he's been steady on the ground, gaining 85 or more yards in six of seven games. He'll be a handful for a Lions defense allowing 108.8 rushing yards per game. |
| WR | ![]() |
Sidney Rice5 rec, 58 yards, rec TD
The Lions' defense has allowed 100-yard games to Jeremy Maclin and Nate Washington. Rice is among the worst No. 1 receivers in the league, but he just might pull a few tricks out of his hat this week. |
| WR | ![]() |
Golden Tate3 rec, 44 yards
Dropped balls put Tate in Pete Carroll's dog house for a bit, but Tate will reprise his role as the Seahawks' No. 2 receiver this week. He is not a strong fantasy play against a Detroit secondary giving up the sixth-fewest passing yards in the league, though. |
| TE | ![]() |
Zach Miller2 rec, 24 yards
The Seahawks make little use of the tight end position, as evidenced by Miller's 18 targets this season and no touchdowns. The Lions' defense is one we'd generally recommend starting a tight end against, but not Miller. |

Steven Hauschka3 PATs, 2 FGs
Hauschka has been hindered by Seattle's low touchdown production. He sees a good number of field-goal attempts, but has tried just 11 extra points, and just five in the past four weeks. Without a steady offense, Hauschka falls just outside the realm of fantasy relevance. |
| DEFENSE |
INT, 3 Sacks, TD
The Seahawks rank third in points allowed (15.1), having kept five of seven opponents under 20 points. The sack count is high, but, surprisingly, the team's aggressive secondary has yielded just six interceptions. Matthew Stafford could help add to that number. |

| Pos. | Player | Projection |
| QB | ![]() |
Matthew Stafford219 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT
The Monday night picture of Stafford buried in the dirt with turf sticking out of his helmet symbolized how his season has gone. He has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns, and now must face one of the toughest defenses in football. The headache will continue for Stafford owners. |
| RB | ![]() |
Mikel LeShoure54 rush yards, 3 rec, 28 rec yards, rec TD
Leshoure has shown promise, but for one reason or another has not been able to put his best effort on the field. Nothing will change this week when the Lions welcome Seattle's stout defense to town. The Seahawks give up just 3.7 yards per carry. Leshoure could get luck and punch one in through the air, though. |
| RB | ![]() |
Joique Bell16 rush yards, 1 rec, 10 rec yards
Bell has not experienced a surge in touches, as some predicted. The Lions will continue to use their primary backup to spell Mikel Leshoure when necessary, but most weeks that will not add up to much fantasy production. |
| WR | ![]() |
Calvin Johnson5 rec, 73 yards, rec TD
The Bears eliminated the league's top receiver from the equation Monday night, holding Johnson to 34 yards. Now, Johnson must do battle with a Seattle secondary that has given up just six touchdowns in seven games. |
| WR | ![]() |
Ryan Broyles3 rec, 40 yards
The rookie finally emerged in the Lions' Monday night loss, catching his first career touchdown. He faces a touch matchup this week, but Matt Stafford seems willing to look Broyles' way. |
| WR | ![]() |
Titus Young3 rec, 38 yards
Young will replace Nate Burleson as Detroit's No. 2 receiver, a role many believed he would have earned already. This week he'll be pestered by a physical Seattle secondary that has embarrassed receivers far better than Young. |
| TE | ![]() |
Brandon Pettigrew3 rec, 40 yards
Pettigrew's first career touchdown came against Seattle in 2009, but that was a much different defense. Last week the Seahawks didn’t allow Vernon Davis to catch a single pass. |
| K | ![]() |
Jason Hanson2 PATs, 2 FGs
If he continues on his current pace, Hanson will score 157 points this season, which would shatter his previous best of 132 set back in 1995. Unfortunately, games against teams like Seattle won't help him get there. |
| DEFENSE |
INT, 3 Sacks
The Bears stole the headlines Monday, but the Lions' defense played just as well. The secondary is getting better and the run defense has allowed just one score this season. |
