Fantasy Player Projections

Josh Freeman

Over Freeman's past three games, he has averaged 337 passing yards and three touchdowns. His success should continue against a Raiders pass defense that ranks near the bottom-third in the NFL.

Doug Martin

Martin is coming off the best game of his young career, in which he tallied 29 carries and three catches against the Vikings. The Bucs don't want to use him that much each week, but it's a good thing for fantasy owners when they do. He's a very good RB2 from here on out.

LeGarrette Blount

Blount had eight carries and 16 yardslast Thursday, as he continues to dance around behind the line before hitting the holes. He'll be used to spell Doug Martin, but fantasy owners should look elsewhere.

Vincent Jackson

After posting his biggest game of the season in Week 7, Jackson caught just two passes for 40 yards at Minnesota in Week 8. He should do well again as the Raiders host the Bucs in Week 9.

Mike Williams

The third-year wide receiver caught six passes for 68 yards and a touchdown at Minnesota in Week 8. He has two touchdowns in his past three games, and he's a great WR2/3 against the Raiders in Week 9.

Dallas Clark

In the first four games of the season, Clark had nine catches for 81 yards. But in his past two games, he has eight catches for 91 yards and a touchdown. The Raiders aren't too tough against tight ends, which makes Clark a nice sleeper tight end if yours is on a bye.

Connor Barth

Barth had his best game of the season in Week 8, kicking three field goals and three extra points. The Bucs' offense is playing well right now, which means plenty of scoring opportunities for Barth.

The Bucs forced three turnovers and three sacks at Minnesota in Week 8. They face the Raiders in Week 9, but they still remain a mediocre fantasy option until they can put up consecutive big games.

Carson Palmer

Palmer threw for two touchdowns against the Chiefs, bringing his total to nine this season, to go with five interceptions. The Buccaneers' secondary is dealing with some issues, and Palmer should do well against their 31st-ranked pass defense.

Darren McFadden

McFadden rushed for a season-high 114 yards against the Chiefs in Week 8, and he'll take on a Buccaneers team that's starting to crack against the run. McFadden remains a very good fantasy running back, despite having just two touchdowns thus far.

Mike Goodson

Goodson had just four carries for 22 yards against the Chiefs, and he continues to serve as the Raiders' backup running back. Until Darren McFadden gets hurt, Goodson has little worth in fantasy play.

Denarius Moore

Moore caught a touchdown pass for the third week in a row, and the fourth time in five games, against the Chiefs in Week 8. The Buccaneers have the NFL's second-worst pass defense, which makes Moore a great start in Week 9. The Bucs' secondary has several issues.

Darrius Heyward-Bey

DHB's only catch in Week 8 was a 32-yard touchdown pass against the Chiefs. Tampa Bay's secondary has some problems off the field that are affecting the personnel on the field, so Heyward-Bey could catch another touchdown pass in Week 9.

Brandon Myers

Since the Raiders' bye in Week 5, Myers has 15 catches for 155 yards and no touchdowns. He's obviously more helpful in PPR leagues because of his lack of touchdowns, and the Buccaneers have been pretty tough against tight ends this season.

Sebastian Janikowski

For the second week in a row, Janikowski kicked four field goals and two extra points. He is once again a solid fantasy kicker after a relatively slow start to the season. He has at least two field goals in every game this season.

The Raiders are coming off their best fantasy performance of the season, with three sacks and four forced turnovers. They host a Buccaneers team that is red-hot offensively, and coming off 10 days of rest.
