Fantasy Player Projections

1steelersShaun Suisham

Shaun Suisham

3 PATs, 3 FGs

Suisham has averaged nine points per game for Pittsburgh, and has yet to be held to fewer than seven points in a game this season. He's as steady as they come.

2eaglesAlex Henery

Alex Henery

3 PATs, 3 FGs

For Henery, it's feast or famine. The Eagles' offense is up and down week-to-week, which makes the kicker a gamble to fantasy owners. This week looks good, though, as New Orleans allows 2.1 field goal opportunities per game.

3raidersSebastian Janikowski

Sebastian Janikowski

3 PATs, 3 FGs

For the second week in a row, Janikowski kicked four field goals and two extra points. He is once again a solid fantasy kicker after a relatively slow start to the season. He has at least two field goals in every game this season.

4texansShayne Graham

Shayne Graham

4 PATs, 2 FGs

While Graham has 13 field goals, his 25 extra points are even more impressive. He has kicked three or more extra points in six of seven games. Start him against the Bills.

5bearsRobbie Gould

Robbie Gould

3 PATs, 2 FGs

Gould made the game-winner last week, but has missed two kicks over the past two games. The Bears still present him with enough opportunities to rank as one of the top-12 kickers in the league, and he's averaging 8.4 points per game.

6falconsMatt Bryant

Matt Bryant

3 PATs, 2 FGs

Bryant has tallied 32 points in three home games this season. Last week, the Cowboys' bend-but-don't-break defense allowed New York's Lawrence Tynes to nail five field goals.

7chargersNick Novak

Nick Novak

3 PATs, 2 FGs

Novak kicked a pair of field goals against the Browns in Week 8, but the Chargers' offense hasn't afforded him a lot of scoring opportunities lately.

8redskinsKai Forbath

Kai Forbath

3 PATs, 2 FGs

While Forbath did kick a pair of field goals, he was unable to connect on his only extra-point attempt of the season. He is a middle-of-the-road fantasy option in Week 9 against the Panthers.

9buccaneersConnor Barth

Connor Barth

3 PATs, 2 FGs

Barth had his best game of the season in Week 8, kicking three field goals and three extra points. The Bucs' offense is playing well right now, which means plenty of scoring opportunities for Barth.

10giantsLawrence Tynes

Lawrence Tynes

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Tynes is on pace to score 213,569 points this season. OK, slight exaggeration, but his pace is ri-dic-u-lous. Last year, kickers for six NFL teams failed to reach the 100-point mark; Tynes will get there in Week 9.

11saintsGarrett Hartley

Garrett Hartley

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Another week, another subpar score from Hartley. He has yet to reach double-digit points in a game this season. To summarize, this is not the guy you want kicking for your fantasy team.

12chiefsRyan Succop

Ryan Succop

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Succop has made his past 13 field-goal attempts over the course of six games. But he rarely ends up with multiple extra points, and the Chiefs are still a question mark offensively.

13panthersJustin Medlock

Justin Medlock

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Medlock made all five field-goal attempts against Chicago in Week 8, marking his best fantasy week of the season by far. Don't expect that each week, as the Panthers try to iron things out offensively.

14billsRian Lindell

Rian Lindell

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Lindell started the season with just one field goal in four games. But over the past three games he has four field goals and six extra points. Despite the improvement, he's still not a good fantasy kicker right now.

15vikingsBlair Walsh

Blair Walsh

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Walsh has attempted fewer than two field goals just three times this season, including the past two weeks. Seattle is a tough place to play, and kickers are scoring less there on average than in half of the other NFL stadiums.

16seahawksSteven Hauschka

Steven Hauschka

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Hauschka made one-of-two field-goal attempts in Week 8, and he scored six fantasy points for the third straight week. Fantasy owners should have better options at the kicker position for Week 9, though.

17titansRob Bironas

Rob Bironas

PAT, 2 FGs

Bironas is one of fantasy's least desirable kickers, both in terms of opportunity and success rate. There is no reason to pull him off the waiver wire for this contest.

18lionsJason Hanson

Jason Hanson

4 PATs, FG

For a while Hanson was living the good life, managing 17 field-goal attempts in the first five weeks. But lately all he's been doing is kicking extra points.

19jaguarsJosh Scobee

Josh Scobee

PAT, 2 FGs

Scobee's best work has come in the past two weeks, with Jacksonville struggling with injuries and desperately trying to move the football. Even so, at his best Scobee's barely good enough to crack your lineup.

20coltsAdam Vinatieri

Adam Vinatieri

PAT, 2 FGs

Vinatieri was good on two out of three field goal and one extra point at Tennessee in Week 8. He just doesn't see enough scoring opportunities each week to warrant starting in most leagues.

21ravensJustin Tucker

Justin Tucker

3 PATs, FG

Tucker has missed just one field goal this year and ranks among the top 12 in extra point attempts. This week, however, he faces a Cleveland defense that doesn't allow easy opportunities: The Browns have permitted just six field goal tries from within 39 yards.

22packersMason Crosby

Mason Crosby

3 PATs, FG

Crosby has missed four of his last eight field goals, with some of the failed attempts coming off his foot looking like knuckleballs. Even if he made every attempt he was given, Crosby wouldn't score enough to warrant a spot in your lineup.

23broncosMatt Prater

Matt Prater

3 PATs, FG

Prater kicked two field goals against the Saints after not getting any attempts in his previous two games. He also had four extra points. Only two kickers have more extra points than Prater so far.

24dolphinsDan Carpenter

Dan Carpenter

3 PATs, FG

Carpenter had his best fantasy game of the season in Week 8 against the Jets, with three field goals and three extra points. Despite the big week, Carpenter still ranks as one of the worst fantasy kickers this season, with just 10 field goals and 16 extra points.

25brownsPhil Dawson

Phil Dawson

2 PATs, FG

Dawson's last game against Baltimore provided encouraging results (10 points), but over the past four-plus seasons he has struggled to get onto the field. He has made just nine field goals in his last eight games against the Ravens, and has averaged 4.5 points per game over that stretch.

26cowboysDan Bailey

Dan Bailey

2 PATs, FG

Having DeMarco Murray parked on the sideline helped Bailey put up respectable totals in recent weeks, as a lack of balance on offense resulted in a number of stalled drives.

27cardinalsJay Feely

Jay Feely

Things have gotten ugly in Arizona this past month. How ugly? Look no further than Feely, who has scored three or fewer points in three of the team's October games.

28bengalsMike Nugent

Mike Nugent

In Nugent's last three games, he has just four field goals and six extra points. Fantasy owners should be able to do better off the waiver wire for Week 9.
