Fantasy Player Projections

Defenses
RankTeamProjectionOpponent
1giants

INT, 3 Sacks, TD

New York is tied for third in sacks and trails only Chicago in takeaways, with 26. The Giants do give up too many points, but the unit makes up for it in impact plays.

atbengals
249ers

2 INTs, 4 Sacks

The 49ers don't force a lot of turnovers (just six interceptions this season), but they do rack up sacks (six in the past two games) and they keep teams out of the end zone. Keep this defensive unit active in all formats in Week 10.

vsrams
3dolphins

2 INTs, 3 Sacks

The Dolphins' defense had trouble in Indianapolis, allowing 516 total yards and 23 points to the Colts. This defense has forced just two turnovers in its past three games, but the Titans are far from a stellar offense. This could be a sleeper unit to lean on in Week 10.

vstitans
4patriots

2 INTs, 2 Sacks

The Patriots are coming off one of their best defensive efforts of the season in Week 8 before their bye, when they held the Rams to just seven points. They allowed 28 points to the Bills in Week 4, but they picked off four passes and forced six turnovers.

vsbills
5broncos

2 INTs, 2 Sacks

The Broncos came strong in Week 9, with five sacks of Andy Dalton as well as one interception and a kickoff returned for a touchdown. They have four defensive/special teams touchdowns this season, which ties them for second behind the Bears, who have eight.

atpanthers
6seahawks

2 INTs, 2 Sacks

The Seahawks forced two turnovers and recorded four sacks against the Vikings in Week 9. This unit has two or more sacks in six of nine games this season and should be a great start against the Jets in Week 10.

vsjets
7lions

INT, 3 Sacks

The front four was responsible for six of the eight sacks Detroit collected in its two games against Minnesota last year. This contest will come down to how well Christian Ponder is able to operate under constant pressure.

atvikings
8vikings

INT, 3 Sacks

Minnesota has allowed 30 or more points in three of its last four games -- all losses. Minnesota notched five sacks in the first meeting with Detroit, but fantasy owners cannot expect the Lions to be as generous this time around.

vslions
9cowboys

INT, 3 Sacks

The Cowboys may have the best all-around defense in football, with the game's most dangerous pass rusher (DeMarcus Ware), one of the league's best cornerback tandems and an emerging inside linebacker (Bruce Carter). Plus, in this game, at least one Michael Vick turnover is expected.

ateagles
10texans

INT, 3 Sacks

The Texans are one of two defenses to rank among the top five in pass and run defense (San Francisco is the other). J.J. Watt and company will rough up Jay Cutler on more than one occasion this week, putting Chicago in undesirable situations.

atbears
11colts

INT, 2 Sacks

The Colts' pass defense has registered the fewest interceptions in the league and has struggled to get to the quarterback. There is a glimmer of hope heading into this matchup, though, as Blaine Gabbert ranks among the top-10 most sacked quarterbacks in the league.

atjaguars
12jaguars

INT, 2 Sacks

The Jaguars rank 26th in points allowed and only three teams have generated fewer turnovers. Even though Jacksonville won the first meeting, the Colts generated 104 more yards of total offense.

vscolts
13ravens

INT, 2 Sacks

Baltimore's run defense has become an easy target for opponents, as the unit has allowed five backs to rush for 90 or more yards in the past four weeks. Fortunately, the Raiders don't have a healthy back in their stable. This could be the Ravens' lucky week.

vsraiders
14eagles

INT, 2 Sacks

The Cowboys' banged-up running game should help Philadelphia's defense keep this tight, although anything can happen -- good or bad -- when facing Tony Romo.

vscowboys
15bears

INT, 2 Sacks

The Bears' defense has made big play after big play. This week, though, the unit faces a Texans squad that leads the league with the fewest number of giveaways (six).

vstexans
16chiefs

INT, 2 Sacks

The Chiefs are the only defense in the league giving up 30.0 or more points, but allowing fewer than 400 yards per game. Kansas City is vulnerable to big plays, and Pittsburgh has the weapons to make the Chiefs hurt.

atsteelers
17steelers

INT, 2 Sacks

This defense frustrates and punishes opposing quarterbacks. Just ask Eli Manning and Robert Griffin III. Matt Cassel and the Kansas City passing game don't stand a chance.

vschiefs
18titans

INT, 2 Sacks

The Titans scored a safety against Chicago in Week 9 to go with three sacks and one forced fumble. However, the unit allowed 51 points to the Bears, undoing any good it did for fantasy owner. This is not a fantasy unit worth considering.

atdolphins
19falcons

INT, 2 Sacks

The Falcons' defense had three sacks in four straight games before getting just one sack against the Cowboys in Week 9. The improved unit allowed just 13 points, but was unable to force any turnovers. This is a borderline fantasy unit against a strong Saints offense.

atsaints
20chargers

INT, 2 Sacks

San Diego had its best game of the season on defense in Week 9, scoring two touchdowns against the Chiefs. The Chargers now have four defensive scores this year, which ranks second in the league, but they’ll face a red-hot Buccaneers offense in Week 10.

atbuccaneers
21buccaneers

INT, 2 Sacks

The Buccaneers intercepted three Carson Palmer passes and sacked him twice in Week 9. But they also allowed 32 points and 402 passing yards. This unit is better against the run, but fantasy owners should steer clear of the Bucs for now.

vschargers
22panthers

INT, 2 Sacks

The Panthers recorded four sacks, but they couldn't force any turnovers at Washington in Week 9. They allowed 13 points, which was the best mark of the season for them. Don't expect that to happen in Week 10 against Peyton Manning and the Broncos.

vsbroncos
23jets

INT, 2 Sacks

The Jets have seven sacks, two interceptions and four forced fumbles in their past three games. The Seahawks are a tough running club, however, and they usually play well at home. Consider other fantasy options in Week 10.

atseahawks
24saints

INT, Sack

The Saints turned in one of their best defensive efforts of the season against the Eagles in Week 9, registering seven sacks, a fumble recovery and an interception returned for a touchdown. Despite this, fantasy owners should steer clear as the Saints travel to Atlanta.

vsfalcons
25bengals

2 Sacks

The Bengals just got roasted by one Manning brother and now they have to face the other. Seems unfair. The Bengals have no answer for New York's deep receiving corps.

vsgiants
26raiders

2 Sacks

The Raiders are giving up 28.6 points and will be tested by a Baltimore offense that is both healthy and balanced. This could get ugly fast.

atravens
27bills

2 Sacks

In the past two games, the Bills' defense has four sacks and no forced turnovers and has allowed an average of 28 points. The Patriots won't have any problems scoring on them, having posted 52 points in their Week 4 meeting.

atpatriots
28rams

2 Sacks

The Rams allowed the 49ers to score an average of 30 points in two games last season. This defense hasn't forced a turnover in three weeks and has allowed 75 points in its past two games. Look elsewhere for fantasy help in Week 10.
