Fantasy Player Projections

Drew Brees

Brees threw for 267 yards, three touchdowns and a pair of interceptions against a strong 49ers defense in Week 12. The Falcons pose a smaller threat, and Brees averaged 315 yards and three touchdowns against Atlanta last season. Expect a big day.

Darren Sproles

Sproles led the Saints with seven catches for 65 yards against the 49ers in Week 12, but most of his production came during garbage time. He didn't get a carry, which is not too surprising. He's a very good flex play in most formats, but an RB2 in PPR leagues.

Chris Ivory

Ivory led the Saints in rushing last Sunday 34 yards on eight carries, despite Darren Sproles being healthy and Mark Ingram getting more touches. It's tough to gauge this backfield right now, so look for alternatives if possible.

Mark Ingram

Ingram got the most touches of any Saints running back in Week 12, but he did the least with them, managing 27 yards on 10 carries. This backfield continues to be muddled for fantasy owners, making Ingram a questionable start.

Marques Colston

Colston caught four passes for 36 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers in Week 12. He has now scored in six of his past eight games and remains a top-10 wide receiver in fantasy.

Lance Moore

Moore caught three passes (on six targets) for 61 yards against the Niners in Week 12. He got banged up a bit, but he was able to return to finish the game. Last season, in his only game against Atlanta, he caught seven passes for 91 yards.

Jimmy Graham

Graham caught just four passes for 33 yards against the 49ers in Week 12. He was only targeted six times, but he has scored in all three games he has started against the Falcons in his career.

Garrett Hartley

Hartley didn't have any field-goal attempts against the 49ers, but he did make three extra points. Hartley has just two field goals and only three field-goal attempts in his past six games. Look elsewhere for fantasy help.

The Saints forced two turnovers against the 49ers in Week 12, but they were unable to get any sacks, and they gave up 31 points. The Falcons are even tougher offensively, so look for another fantasy defense in Week 13.

Matt Ryan

Ryan was able to throw for 353 yards against Tampa Bay in Week 12, but he only managed one touchdown pass, and he matched that with his 13th interception of the season. In two games against the Saints in 2011, he averaged 362 passing yards but totaled just three touchdown passes in those games.

Michael Turner

While Turner was essentially bottled up against Tampa Bay, gaining just 17 yards on 13 carries, he was still able to get his sixth rushing touchdown of the season. The Saints held him in check last season, but Turner should still be considered a low-end fantasy starter this week.

Jacquizz Rodgers

Rodgers rushed 10 times for 49 yards and a touchdown against the Saints in Week 12. He also caught a pair of passes for 30 yards, and he outplayed starter Michael Turner. Even so, he's still just a flex play against the Saints in Week 13.

Roddy White

White caught five passes for 57 yards against the Buccaneers in Week 12, and he has now gone five games without finding the end zone. He caught seven passes for 114 yards against New Orleans earlier this season and should end that scoreless streak this week.

Julio Jones

Jones had one of his biggest games of the season in Week 12, catching six passes for 147 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers. Earlier this year against the Saints, he had four grabs for 75 yards, so a good week may be ahead.

Tony Gonzalez

Gonzalez caught five passes for 62 yards against the Buccaneers Sunday, but was unable to score for the second game in a row. The last time he scored was in Week 10 against the Saints, when he caught 11 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns.

Matt Bryant

While Bryant missed a pair of field goals against Tampa Bay, he did make a 31-yarder, with three extra points. He had two field goals and three extra points against the Saints earlier this season.

Atlanta picked up a pair of sacks against the Buccaneers, but it couldn't force any turnovers. The Saints' high-powered offense comes to town in Week 13, and the Falcons gave up 31 points to them in Week 10, with one interception and one sack. This is not a favorable fantasy matchup for the Falcons' defense.
