Baltimore scored 20 points on the Steelers in Week 13 but gained only 288 total yards. Pittsburgh registered three sacks and two forced turnovers, and with the Chargers' shaky offense up next, the Steelers are once again a top fantasy defense to start.

The 49ers didn't record any turnovers against the Rams in Week 13, but they did get two sacks. This unit stands a good chance of scoring against the Dolphins in Week 14.

The Broncos scored on an interception return against Tampa Bay in Week 13, and they have six defense/special teams touchdowns in their past six games.

It really doesn't matter if Ndamukong Suh is dirty or just mean -- the Packers don't have the proper protection to keep him out of Aaron Rodgers' grill.

Green Bay won't control the Detroit passing game, but it should be able to capitalize on a team that has turned the ball over 20 times this season.

Buffalo's defense allowed the Jaguars to score 18 points in Week 13 while registering four sacks and forcing two turnovers. The Bills have 11 sacks in their past three games and should be able to notch a few more against the Rams.

The Chiefs allowed 21 points to the Panthers in Week 13, and they were unable to intercept quarterback Cam Newton. This defense has had some nice fantasy moments this season, however, and is not a bad option in Week 14 against a rookie quarterback.

Cleveland allowed 17 points, 351 passing yards and 85 rushing yards to the Raiders in Week 13. The Browns also tallied one sack and one interception. The Chiefs should struggle offensively again, making the Browns a sleeper pick in many leagues.

The Falcons' defense played well against the Saints in Week 13, notching five interceptions and allowing just 13 points. The Panthers scored 28 points against Atlanta in Week 4, though, making the Falcons a middle-of-the-road option against Carolina in Week 14.

The Titans have scored 20 or fewer points in four of their last five games and have a flood of problems in the passing game. This matchup is bound to make the Colts' defense an overachiever for a week.

Jared Allen came alive last week against the Packers' rag-tag offensive line and could find more success in Week 14. The Bears have allowed 36 sacks, among the most in the NFL.

You'd have to be out of your mind to start the Giants against a Saints offense averaging 386.4 yards and 26.8 points per game. Drew Brees won't throw five picks again.

The Rams had three sacks and held the 49ers to just 13 points in Week 13. The defense has been pretty strong in fantasy in recent weeks and it should do well at Buffalo.

The Panthers gave up 27 points to the Chiefs in Week 13. They also notched just one sack in a disappointing effort. They had seven sacks against the Falcons in Week 4, but Atlanta also scored 30 points on them.

San Diego's defense scored on an interception return in Week 13 against Cincinnati and added two interceptions and one sack in the game. The Steelers may be in trouble offensively if Ben Roethlisberger is rusty, so consider using the Chargers this week.

Tom Brady was sacked four times in Week 13 and only managed 23 points against the Dolphins in Week 13. The 49ers come into town with Colin Kaepernick under center, which could mean good things for Miami's defense should the Niners' quarterback struggle again. This is a sleeper fantasy defense to play in Week 14.

The Cardinals' defense had a big game against the Jets, forcing three interceptions, three sacks and allowing seven points. They allowed just 16 points to the Seahawks in Week 1, but they remain a borderline fantasy start this week.

Seattle allowed 17 points and 365 total yards to the Bears in a Week 13 overtime win. The Seahwaks also registered just one sack, with no forced turnovers. The Cardinals are in rough offensive shape these days, though, so the Seahawks should dominate on defense.

This contest has the ingredients of a shootout between two high-powered passing games. Cincinnati will make its share of mistakes -- the Bengals have 20 turnovers this season -- but will put points on the board, too.

A few weeks ago this task would have been much easier on Cincinnati, but now that Dallas has a balanced attack (read: now that DeMarco Murray is back) the Cowboys present a much greater challenge to opposing defenses.

The Jacksonville offense ranks 24th in team passing and dead last in rushing. This offense doesn't pose a threat to any fantasy defense.

The Jaguars gave up 34 points to the Bills last week. The Bills! Even the Jets, who rank 26th in scoring, pose a threat to put up big points against this defense.

The Titans are minus-10 in turnover ratio and rank 31st in points allowed (29.9). Colts rookie quarterback Andrew Luck should have little trouble tearing this unit apart.

Chicago collected three turnovers and limited Minnesota to 10 points in the two teams' meeting just a few weeks ago.

The Saints beat the Giants by more than 20 points last year and still allowed 465 yards of offense. Fantasy owners would be foolish to bet on either defense.

The Patriots have the league's best give-take ratio and are within one takeaway of matching Chicago. On the downside, their defense gives up too much ground, and Houston has an offense able to take advantage.

The Eagles had two sacks at Dallas in Week 13 and scored on a 98-yard punt return. But their defensive line coach was fired on Monday, so it's tough to say what to expect in Week 14 against a pretty good Buccaneers offense. Look elsewhere for fantasy help this week.

This is one of the league's best defenses, but it's a unit facing the NFL's most dangerous, fast-paced offense. Consider that fair warning in case Houston falls short of expectations this week.

Tampa Bay notched one interception at Denver in Week 13 but no sacks and no other forced turnovers. The Bucs also allowed 31 points to Peyton Manning. This defense is still too unreliable for fantasy purposes.

It has been a rough year for Baltimore's defense. Now the battered unit must try to contain a dual-threat quarterback who has thrown just four interceptions this season. Find a replacement unit this week.

Oakland had a sack and two interceptions against the Browns in Week 13. The Raiders also held Cleveland to just 20 points. Don't even think about starting the Raiders against Peyton Manning and Co., though. Before Week 13, Oakland had allowed an average of 42 points per game to its opponents.

The Redskins' defense does not generate many sacks and ranks in the bottom 10 for points allowed. Baltimore's offense may not scare opponents, but it's good enough to challenge Washington.
