Fantasy Player Projections

1redskinsRobert Griffin III

Robert Griffin III

218 pass yards, pass TD, 54 rush yards, rush TD

Griffin III may be among the safest plays for fantasy owners. Not only does he consistently score fantasy points with passing and rushing yards, he also he makes very few mistakes. RGIII has posted a QB Rating of 100.0 or better three straight weeks.

2packersAaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers

295 pass yards, 3 pass TDs, INT, 13 rush yards

In his last five December home games, Rodgers has averaged 310.4 passing yards and thrown 15 touchdowns to just two interceptions. Lions, beware.

3broncosPeyton Manning

Peyton Manning

322 pass yards, 3 pass TDs, INT

Manning threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, and the Broncos have scored more than 30 points in six of their past seven games. Manning also threw three touchdown passes to go with 338 passing yards against the Raiders in Week 4.

4saintsDrew Brees

Drew Brees

313 pass yards, 3 pass TDs, INT

The sooner Brees can put last week's five-interception performance behind him, the better. New York's secondary should help. The Giants allow 245.1 yards per game and have helped opposing passers complete 63.1 percent of their attempts.

5patriotsTom Brady

Tom Brady

252 pass yards, 3 pass TDs

MVPs are made in games like this. Brady is coming off one of his worst performances of the year, but he has been hot at home (nine touchdowns, one interception) and often plays his best in the biggest games.

6coltsAndrew Luck

Andrew Luck

281 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT, 21 rush yards

Luck needed overtime to beat Tennessee in the first meeting but should have an easier time at Lucas Oil Stadium, where he is 5-1 this season with nine touchdowns and three interceptions.

7ravensJoe Flacco

Joe Flacco

267 pass yards, 2 pass TDs

The Redskins rank 31st against the pass, giving up 299.0 yards per game. Flacco couldn't be happier to face them; he has passed for less than 200 yards in five of the Ravens' last eight games.

8seahawksRussell Wilson

Russell Wilson

225 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT, 35 rush yards

Wilson threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns in an overtime win at Chicago in Week 13. He has at least two touchdown passes in his past five games, compared to just one interception. He also had 71 rushing yards. It’s time to look at him as a regular borderline fantasy starter.

9eaglesNick Foles

Nick Foles

280 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT, 12 rush yards

Foles threw for 251 yards and a touchdown at Dallas on Sunday night, and the Eagles have decided to go with him as the starter for the rest of the season. With the Bucs' poor pass defense on deck, Foles is a sneaky fantasy starter this weekend.

10falconsMatt Ryan

Matt Ryan

310 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Ryan had one of his worst fantasy days of the season against the Saints, whom many quarterbacks have been destroying. Ryan threw for just 165 yards, by far his lowest total this season. On the bright side, the Panthers allowed him to throw three touchdown passes in Week 4.

11giantsEli Manning

Eli Manning

309 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

With the Cowboys and Redskins closing in and the football world ready to give up on the Giants, this seems like the time for Manning to kick things into gear. Expect a big game against a poor pass defense.

12buccaneersJosh Freeman

Josh Freeman

265 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT, 15 rush yards

After a down week against the Falcons, Freeman threw two more touchdown passes against Denver in Week 13, with 242 passing yards and an interception. The Bucs' quarterback has thrown for a pair of touchdowns in seven of his past eight games. The trend could continue against an Eagles team with a coaching staff in disarray.

13panthersCam Newton

Cam Newton

240 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, 2 INTs, 45 rush yards

Newton had one of his best games of the season in Week 13 against the Chiefs. He threw for three touchdowns for the first time this season, and he rushed for a team-high 78 yards. As he rounds back into a top-five fantasy quarterback, he faces a Falcons team against whom he threw a pair of touchdowns in their last meeting.

14cowboysTony Romo

Tony Romo

269 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT, 13 rush yards

Romo has thrown for 300 or more yards in four of his last five games … not that anyone has noticed. He's added 10 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Stop knocking Dallas' quarterback and start trusting him in the fantasy playoffs.

15texansMatt Schaub

Matt Schaub

288 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Schaub isn't always a QB1 in fantasy; this week he is. The Patriots' defense gives up 279.9 passing yards per game and has allowed 22 touchdowns through the air this season.

1649ersColin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick

225 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 60 rush yards

Kaepernick was named the 49ers' starting quarterback for Week 14 after throwing for 208 yards and rushing nine times for 84 yards against the Rams. The second-year scrambler is worth a look as a starter this week, but only for those without a top-10 quarterback.

17bengalsAndy Dalton

Andy Dalton

233 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Dalton came out blazing in September and October but has cooled off since, averaging 209 yards over his last six starts. Dallas ranks 10th in passing yards allowed (220.1).

18bearsJay Cutler

Jay Cutler

201 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

In his last two trips to Minnesota, Cutler has averaged 170.5 passing yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions. It's difficult for fantasy owners to get excited about playing Cutler to begin with, let alone after seeing those numbers.

19vikingsChristian Ponder

Christian Ponder

193 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 24 rush yards

The Bears' defense should come with its own warning label: Danger, can be harmful to all quarterbacks, especially those lacking experience and proven weapons.

20ramsSam Bradford

Sam Bradford

235 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Bradford threw for 221 yards in an overtime win against the 49ers in Week 13 and rushed for 31 yards. But Week 13 also was the first time Bradford has not thrown for a score since Week 6. The going should be easier against Buffalo, but don't expect much.

21lionsMatthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford

277 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs

Stafford completed a season-worst 43.6 percent of his passes in the loss to Green Bay in November. That was a fluke, but it's still fair to say the Packers have his number: In four career meetings with Green Bay, Stafford has thrown eight touchdowns and 11 interceptions and lost all four games.

22jaguarsChad Henne

Chad Henne

223 pass yards, pass TD, INT

New York is one of four teams allowing fewer than 200 passing yards per game, and only Houston allows a lower completion percentage to opposing passers. It could be a long and miserable day for Henne.

23titansJake Locker

Jake Locker

212 pass yards, pass TD, INT

If Tennessee was in contention, Locker might not be in the lineup. He has thrown five interceptions and just two touchdowns in losses the past two weeks. The Colts own one of the league's worst pass defenses, but we still cannot endorse Locker.

24raidersCarson Palmer

Carson Palmer

255 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs

Palmer had 351 passing yards, two touchdown passes and one interception against Cleveland in Week 13. He now has seven touchdown passes in his past four games, but he was unable to manage a score against the Broncos in Week 4.

25jetsMark Sanchez

Mark Sanchez

201 pass yards, pass TD, INT

It appears Rex Ryan will stick with Mark Sanchez as his starter. The fact that there were three names in the mix at the beginning of the week speaks volumes about this fantasy situation. #StayAway

26brownsBrandon Weeden

Brandon Weeden

245 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs

Weeden delivered a mixed bag against Oakland in Week 13: He threw for a career-high 364 yards and one touchdown, but also had two interceptions. The Chiefs have allowed a lot of passing touchdowns this season, but it's very tough to rely on this rookie quarterback in the fantasy playoffs.

27steelersBen Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger

180 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Roethlisberger is still dealing with shoulder and rib issues, so owners should remain cautious even though it sounds like he'll play. He threw for just two touchdowns against the Browns in two games last season.

28billsRyan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzpatrick

155 pass yards, pass TD, INT

Fitzpatrick completed just nine passes for 112 yards, two touchdowns and an interception against Jacksonville in Week 13. He has five touchdown passes in his past five games, but he hasn't thrown for more than 200 yards in his past three games. The Rams' defense is playing too well to trust a shaky Fitzpatrick this week.

29chargersPhilip Rivers

Philip Rivers

175 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs

Rivers threw for 280 yards against Cincinnati in Week 13, but he didn't throw any touchdown passes. He has eight touchdown passes in his past six games, but he's just not reliable enough to start in the fantasy playoffs.

30chiefsBrady Quinn

Brady Quinn

160 pass yards, pass TD, 2 INTs

Quinn played well in a win against the Panthers, completing 19-of-23 passes for 201 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Despite likely earning another NFL start, he shouldn't earn a fantasy start in most leagues in Week 14.

31dolphinsRyan Tannehill

Ryan Tannehill

195 pass yards, 2 INTs, 15 rush yards

The rookie had a tough time against the Patriots in Week 13, as he completed only 13-of-29 passes for 186 yards and no touchdowns. He has just one game with more than one touchdown pass this season, and fantasy owners should look elsewhere in Week 14.

32cardinalsJohn Skelton

John Skelton

155 pass yards, INT

Skelton will start in Week 14, and the Cardinals are officially spinning their wheels. None of their quarterbacks are gaining much confidence. Steer clear of this situation.

33jetsTim Tebow

Tim Tebow

13 pass yards, 19 rush yards

According to the team's medical staff, Tebow's ribs have been cleared for action; it's tough to say if Tebow will see any, though. He currently has no value to fantasty owners.
