QBCam Newton

Cam Newton

245 pass yards, pass TD, INT, 75 rush yards, rush TD

Newton threw for 287 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 14 against the Falcons. Even better, he rushed for a career-high 116 yards, including a 72-yard touchdown run. Newton is red-hot right now, and he's about to face a mediocre Chargers defense.

RBDeAngelo Williams

DeAngelo Williams

55 rush yards, 3 rec, 24 rec yards

Williams rushed for 56 yards against the Falcons in Week 14, and he also caught two passes for 56 more yards and a touchdown. Williams likely wasn't starting for many fantasy playoff teams, and he remains a risky start in Week 15.

RBMike Tolbert

Mike Tolbert

22 rush yards

Tolbert rushed five times for 20 yards against the Falcons in Week 14, with Jonathan Stewart (ankle) sidelined. If Stewart misses another game, we can expect similar numbers from the big running back in Week 15.

WRSteve Smith

Steve Smith

6 rec, 90 yards, rec TD

While Smith didn't score a touchdown in Week 14, he did catch seven passes for 109 yards against the Falcons. He has posted back-to-back 100-yard games, and the Chargers are a middle-of-the-road pass defense.

WRLouis Murphy

Louis Murphy

4 rec, 45 yards

Murphy caught five passes for 36 yards against the Falcons in Week 14, as Brandon LaFell (toe) remained sidelined. Murphy could get the start again in Week 15.

TEGreg Olsen

Greg Olsen

6 rec, 50 yards

Olsen caught four passes for 55 yards and a touchdown against the Falcons in Week 14. If Brandon LaFell (toe) remains sidelined again, Olsen can expect more passes to come his way. He now has four touchdowns in his past five games.

KGraham Gano

Graham Gano

2 PATs, FG

Gano had his best fantasy day of the season against the Falcons, kicking three field goals and three extra points. Even so, it's tough to trust him in fantasy play, considering he had just one field goal in two games before this one.

INT, Sack

The Panthers held the Falcons to 20 points in Week 14, registering one interception and allowing a total of 377 yards to Atlanta. They're just not as opportunistic as many other fantasy defenses, so look elsewhere in Week 15.

QBPhilip Rivers

Philip Rivers

220 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, INT

Rivers had one of his best games of the season in Week 14 against the Steelers. He threw for 200 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He now has 11 touchdowns to six interceptions over his past six games, and he's worth a look again as a borderline fantasy starter against Carolina.

RBRyan Mathews

Ryan Mathews

70 rush yards, 4 rec, 30 rec yards

The Chargers used Mathews solely in their ground game in Week 14, giving him a season-high 25 carries for 65 yards. While fantasy owners want to see his yards-per-carry mark climb considerably, it's still good to see the Chargers commit to having Mathews carry the rock that much. The Panthers are allowing 121 rushing yards per game, but Mathews has been such a fantasy dud that it's hard to imagine him hitting that mark.

RBRonnie Brown

Ronnie Brown

14 rush yards, 3 rec, 20 rec yards

Brown had just three touches in Week 14 at Pittsburgh, finishing with one catch for seven yards. He still works as Ryan Mathews' backup and as the part-time third-down back. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere.

WRDanario Alexander

Danario Alexander

6 rec, 80 yards, rec TD

For the second time in the past four games, Alexander caught a pair of touchdown passes from quarterback Philip Rivers. He has a great rapport with Rivers now and has performed like a WR1 for much of the past five weeks.

WRMalcom Floyd

Malcom Floyd

4 rec, 65 yards, rec TD

Despite catching just three passes for a season-low 10 yards against the Steelers in Week 14, Floyd was still able to catch his fourth touchdown pass in the past six games. While Danario Alexander has become Philip Rivers' go-to guy, Floyd still has fantasy value in most leagues.

WRMicheal Spurlock

Micheal Spurlock

2 rec, 25 yards

Spurlock had seven catches for 64 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers in Week 14. Despite the big game, the Chargers likely won't target Spurlock as much out of the slot as they did last week.

TEAntonio Gates

Antonio Gates

4 rec, 40 yards

Gates caught just three passes for 31 yards at Pittsburgh in Week 14. He hasn't caught a pass since Week 10 and he's looking more and more like Anthony Fasano than Antonio Gates.

KNick Novak

Nick Novak

2 PATs, 2 FGs

Novak kicked two field goals, including 39- and 51-yarders, and four extra points at Pittsburgh in Week 14. That represented Novak's biggest fantasy week since Week 4, when he took over the place-kicking duties from Nate Kaeding.

INT, 2 Sacks

San Diego's defense/special teams scored its sixth touchdown of the season at Pittsburgh in Week 14, when Quentin Jammer recovered a fumble in the end zone. The Chargers had two sacks and two forced turnovers and are worth a fantasy look in Week 15 against Carolina.
