In 1967, Carl Yastrzemski won the Triple Crown and was a member of the Boston Red Sox's first pennant-winning team in 21 years. Yastrzemski won another American League batting title in 1968. He finished his 23-year career with the Sox, retiring in 1983. Now 58, he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.
