The Mets' first superstar, Seaver won two more Cy Young awards, in 1973 and 1975, before he was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 1977. After retiring as a player in 1986, Seaver became an announcer for the New York Yankees. Seaver, now 53, is a spokesman for Chase Manhattan Bank. He lives with his family in California.
