Jones In 1973, Jackie Stewart retired as a three-time World Driving Champion and the winner of 27 Grand Prix races. A shooting champion before becoming a driving champion, Stewart founded a shooting school in Scotland after abandoning the road. At 58, he is a corporate consultant for Ford and a board member of several companies. Stewart and Ford are sponsoring a Formula One team and expect to stage their own Grand Prix in 1999.
