A week after suffering a concussion in the AFC Championship game against Oakland, Swann caught four passes for 161 yards and a touchdown as the Steelers won a second consecutive Super Bowl. The Cowboys, who made it to the Super Bowl as a wild card team, mounted a late rally after taking over on their own 39 yard line. With 1:22 left to play and no timeouts, Dallas quarterback Roger Staubach moved the Cowboys to the Steelers' 38 yard line. Staubach's desperation pass was intercepted in the end zone by Glen Edwards as time ran out, and Pittsburgh had made it two in a row.
