Jim and Tim, senior twins at Benedictine High, helped their school become the first in Ohio history to win three state titles during the same academic year when they ran the middle two legs—Jim's was the third—for the Bengals' victorious 4x400-meter relay team that lifted Benedictine to the Division II track and field crown. Tim also was a linebacker on Benedictine's 12-1 Division III state-champion football team and a reserve guard on its 23-5 Division II title-winning basketball squad, while Jim played cornerback in football. They plan to run track and play football at Allegheny (Pa.) College, starting in the fall.
