Jenn, a senior pitcher for Delaware Valley Regional High, threw 17 shutouts and 10 no-hitters, including three perfect games, en route to a 27-1 record and a 0.34 ERA for the Terriers, who were the state Group 2 runners-up. She will play for Seton Hall next spring.

Williams, a senior on the UNLV rodeo team, won the men's all-around individual title, leading the Ridin' Rebels to a fifth-place team finish at the College National Finals Rodeo. He placed first in the team roping event, combining with Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College senior Cody Willson.

Skaneateles, N.Y.
Feldman, 21, became the first woman to roll a perfect game in a televised final of a Ladies Professional Bowlers Tour event, accomplishing the feat at the Southern Virginia Open. Feldman beat Carolyn Dorin-Ballard 300-183 for her second career LPBT victory.

Austin, 66, a retired paper-machine tender and grandfather of seven, lifted a total of 1,290 pounds to win his first national title, in the 242-pound class for 65- to 69-year-olds, at the U.S. Powerlifting Federation championships. He squatted 501 pounds, bench-pressed 325 and deadlifted 464.

Grand Junction, Colo.
Melanie, 14, won two national racquetball titles at the U.S. Junior Olympic Championships. She beat defending champion Krystal Csuk 12-15, 15-10, 11-8 to win the girls' 14-and-under singles crown and teamed with Molly Law to win the doubles event over Jeni Fuller and Kristen Walsh 15-10, 15-9.

  Valerie Williams
Frederick, Md.
Valerie, a senior at Frederick High, leaped a wind-aided 22' 7 1/2" in the long jump at a state regional meet. The national high school record of 22' 1 3/4" was set by Kathy McMillan in 1976. Valerie also bettered her own state triple jump record with a 42' 8 1/2" effort.
