Shawn, 14, and Kyle, 13, won their respective divisions at the National Hot Rod Association junior drag racing championships, driving five-horsepower cars. In the double-breakout final round Shawn beat Jason Cline of Gainesville, Fla., in the 14-year-old division with a clocking of 9.29 (9.32) seconds for the eighth-mile track. His victory helped Jr. Dragsters West/Rialto Raceway clinch the team championship. Kyle, also a member of the Rialto team and the son of drag racing champion Jim Rizzoli, won his division by beating A.J. Foyt's grandson A.J. Foyt IV of Hockley, Texas. Kyle won in 10.17 (10.52).
