MUHAMMAD ALI vs. BRIAN
LONDON, ko 3
Aug. 6, 1966/London,
England
A 15-1 underdog, London spoke for all longshots when he
admitted that he didn't expect to beat Ali, but thought he
could "go the distance." The champ carried the
flabby challenger for two rounds before dismantling him in
the third. "The only way I'd
ever fight that man again," London said after the kayo,
"is if he had a 50-pound weight tied to each
foot."
