Boxer Julio Cesar Chavez was the pride of Mexico when he
faced the U.S.'s Greg Haugen in 1993. To match Chavez's
patriotism, Haugen had his cornermen don the stars and
stripes. The display didn't help Haugen in the ring,
however, as Chavez dispatched
the American with a fifth-round TKO to retain the WBC
lightweight
title.
