  Top International moments
It was, according to the hyperbolic headline in one British newspaper, "the greatest two minutes in the history of sport." During that span on May 26, after 90 minutes had already ticked away, two United substitutes scored in stoppage time to defeat Bayern Munich 2-1 and win the Champions League, Europe's most coveted club soccer prize. The win capped a season of unprecedented success during which the Reds also won the domestic league and cup titles. United's hopes for the treble seemed remote when injury time began in front of some 90,000 at Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium, with Bayern leading 1-0. But 40 seconds later, Teddy Sheringham scored off a David Beckham corner, and within a minute more, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did the same. Twenty seconds later, the final whistle blew.
