Yeah, I like bags pretty much. No, I'm kidding [laughs]. I'm obsessed with summer. I'm counting the seconds until summer. Anytime I'm out in New York City, I'm with my shorts and my tank top and I'm ready to take in some sun. I think the mood of summer is just so amazing. I wake up feeling like I want to go run, I want to go out, I want to go shopping, I want to go eat outside. I'm going to Greece, I think, with a bunch of friends, with my boyfriend and my friend Ana Beatriz [Barros]. She's my best friend so I think we're just going to go to Greece and stay in Europe. Then, I'm going to visit my family in Brazil, as well, because it's amazing.

I usually read a little bit or I go to the gym. I'll go to my friends' house and watch a movie, or get on Skype with my friends. I've been reading a lot of Dalai Lama, of his life. I love action movies. Pedro Almodóvar is my favorite director so I really like Spanish movies. I like cheesy movies, as well, actually, those are the ones I watch most of the time.

I like clothes a lot. I kind of like to dress up. I'm always dressed nicely. Now, I'm wearing jeans, a T-shirt, a belt and a cool purse. But I like to dress up. I really like to dress up. I'm crazy for solitaire. I play that most of the time. I play so much! Before I go to bed I play solitaire, when I wake up I play solitaire. I kind of like to read, as well. I watch TV, also, and I love American Idol. I'm very good at solitaire. I win more than I lose. If I lose I get very pissed off and I play until I win. I play it on my cell phone! I just found out that on the Blackberry you can download some games and that's what I'm doing. I'm kind of used to the cell phone thing, but I have it on my computer, as well.

I spend a lot of money on phones. I use my phone so much! That's one thing I'm really crazy for. I'd rather lose my wallet than my Blackberry. I love electronics, so when a new phone comes in I'm on the wait list. I'm on the list for the new iPhone. I like the colors. My last phone was the pink Razor. I was one of the first to have it. I ran into the store and was like, 'I have to have this phone!' That was three years ago or so and now I'm with the Blackberry and I'm crazy for that.

I'd go to Bergdorf Goodman and buy a lot of things. I'd shop for myself, buy my friends presents, my family presents. Maybe I'd get a car, a very, very nice car. I'd definitely travel somewhere, like a resort in India and stay in the presidential suite or something like that. Maybe I'd go to Tahiti and stay in the best hotel. If I had a million dollars, I think I'd get a nice car. I like Audis very much and Mercedes. I like the Mercedes Jeep; I think I'd get that.

I would probably buy some pretzels. They're my favorite thing in the world. Maybe a Diet Coke, also. I still have a lot of money to spend. I can't go to the movies because it's not enough money. I really like to eat, so I'd probably buy food. I like pretzels though; the really dry ones that make you feel like you can't breathe afterward because they're so dry. I did a story in Pop magazine with Matt and Marcus and they really make the girls feel like women and feel pretty. I think that's the sexiest I ever felt. It's about the body shapes and the way that they take pictures, so it's beautiful. I was wearing a bikini and we shot for a week because it's a 30-day story. It was the mood there [Ipanema] and the stylists was very nice. They just really liked women and they wanted to show how beautiful women are. They make your body look nice. They wanted you to look very pretty. This was about two years ago.

While I was shooting for H&M, I went to this little place in Egypt, I forgot the name it. It's a bit far and you have to take this little plane for two hours to get there. It's in the middle of the Sahara Desert. I stayed in caves, real caves, there was no light, no hot water, because there was no hotels. I really want to go back there. It's a place I will never forget and its pretty difficult to get there.

My personal hero is ...
My parents. I'm pretty crazy about them. We're a close family. I'm crazy about them and what they've done for me and my sisters, so they're very important for me. They're definitely my heroes. I have two sisters, one is 28 and the other is 18. They live in Brazil. One is a physical therapist and the other is doing psychology. It's very, very hard to see them. They come here all the time, but for me to go back is pretty difficult because I don't really have a lot of days off. Brazil is almost a 10 hour trip. I went there for Easter for a day and a half and it was very tiring.
Where's your hometown?
My hometown is so small! It's about 3,000 people. Yeah, it's kind of funny when I go there because it's like, 'Oh my gosh! There's someone new in town.' It's because everybody knows everybody; everybody's kind of a family there. It's very tiny but there's nice bridges and waterfalls. Very beautiful, but very tiny. It's called Mucum, Brazil. It's in the deep south, close to Argentina, Uruguay.
Do you have any sort of special connection with your hometown?
Everything that I remember from my childhood is there: my school, my dogs; I miss my dogs so much -- I have seven. My parents, my grandmother, my grandparents. I love my hometown so much. It feels so good when I go back home. It feels so relaxing.
Where's the one place you have to go when you're in your hometown?
I have a house in Sao Paulo. I really like Sao Paulo, when I go back to Brazil I definitely have to go to the north because I think it's so beautiful and the beaches are just so beautiful. The second biggest bridge in South America is there, so it's nice for hiking and things like that. The waterfall is so beautiful. I'd take you to the waterfall for sure.
How do you feel about environmental issues such as global warming or pollution?
I think we all have to do something because it's getting there and you can really see it, how the ocean is rising. If I had to do something, I would probably recycle more.
