Selected by Baltimore Ravens in round 5, pick 20 (155 overall)
Height Weight 40 Grade
6'2½ 265 4.87 3.45
Three-year starter that saw extensive action with the first unit as a true freshman. Second team All-Conference selection last season after catching 10/115/11.5/2 with 6/123/20.5/0 as a junior, a season which was cut short after five games when he tore a ligament in his left knee. Caught 13/201/15.5/1 as a sophomore.

Tough, hard-working tight end efficient both as a pass catcher and blocker. Breaks down well, plays with forward lean and effectively readjusts his body. Works his blocks, can shuffle and slide his feet in pass protection and turns opponents out or controls them once engaged in a block. Displays focus and concentration, eye/hand coordination and looks the pass in as a receiver. Extends and plucks the ball out of the air and also displays solid route running skills. Overall game lacks quickness and explosion, he does not make plays down the field, nor is he effective blocking far off the line of scrimmage. Came back slowly as a senior from his knee injury but did have a good week at the Senior Bowl. Solid but not spectacular tight end lacking the pure size/speed numbers to make him anything other than a late round choice. Late Fifth Round.
