Ryan Hannam | TE | Northern Iowa | Gateway Conference
Selected by Seattle Seahawks in round 5, pick 34 (169 overall)
Height Weight 40 Grade
6'2½ 251 4.68 3.39
Full-time starter as a senior when he was a second team All-Conference choice catching 34/335/9.9/0. Moved in and out of the first unit the prior two seasons totaling 23/253/11/5 as a sophomore.

Athletic tight end effective as both a blocker and pass catcher. When used on the line of scrimmage he sets with a wide base, works his blocks and turns opponents off the line of scrimmage, opening holes for the running game. Plays with forward lean, stays with the action and works to finish off opponents. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage into his pass routes, reads the defense and finds the open spot on the field. Does not play to his 40-time, rarely makes plays in the defensive secondary and best catching the ball only a few yards off the line of scrimmage. Had a solid combine workout then backed it up with a nice pass catching session. Improved his blocking skills as a senior but lacks both the size and growth potential to be dominant at the next level which may preclude him from being selected. Still, a solid prospect to bring into camp and could find his way onto a team as a second tight end. Free Agent.
