Two-year starter that has played extensively time since he was a true freshman. Stepped out of the shadows of David Terrell as a senior and an All-Conference selection after catching 81/1,043/12.9/11. Also averaged 23/9/0 returning punts. Junior receiving numbers were 45/599/13.3/4. Caught 7/396/10.7/2 and 4/31/0 his sophomore and freshman campaigns respectively.
Big, tough wideout that performs brilliantly in the red zone and is known for making the acrobatic catch. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, uses his large frame to shield away opponents and looks the pass into his hands. Extends, lays out and makes the difficult grab displaying the ability to adjust his body in mid-air. Catches the ball running full-speed, effective after the reception and always looks to pick up positive yardage. Reads the defense, finds the open spot on the field and comes back to the quarterback, making himself an available target. Sneaks it downfield on occasion but overall lacks speed, quickness and prone to dropping the easy one. Unnecessarily body catches or lets the pass get into his body, which will drive coaches nuts. Has always been a productive collegiate wideout but stepped to the forefront as a senior and proved he can be a number one receiver. Worked out poorly during Michigan's Pro Day after showing up overweight and out of shape at the combine. The end result will be his name not being called during the initial 45-selections. Late second Round.
