Selected by New Orleans Saints in round 6, pick 24 (196 overall)
Height Weight 40 Grade

Two-year starter that posted career numbers as a senior catching 25/284/11.4/0. Totaled 10/82/8.2/2 as a junior when he played opposite Tony Stewart. Caught 22/259/11.8/1 as a sophomore.

Nice-sized tight end with the ability to get bigger and stronger. As a pass catcher he's quick releasing of the line of scrimmage into his routes, comes back to the quarterback and makes himself an available target. Uses his hands to keep defenders off him, catches the ball well and strong running after the catch. Works hard blocking and attacks the opponent. Plays with a wide base, strong at the point of attack blocking and gets out to the second level, annihilating linebackers. Lacks overall speed, explosion and only effective a few yards off the line of scrimmage as a pass catcher. Has difficulty adjusting to the errant pass and not a nimble or flexible athlete. Size potential, work ethic, and football smarts are all reasons he'll be brought into a camp but lack of speed will prevent him from being drafted. Free Agent.
