Jeb Putzier | TE | Boise St. | Western Athletic Conference
Selected by Denver Broncos in round 6, pick 19 (191 overall)
Height Weight 40 Grade
6'3½ 235 4.69 3.20
Former walk-on that started at wide receiver and tight end the past three seasons. First team All-Conference selection last year when he totaled 44/824/18.7/12. Junior numbers were 35/592/16.9/3 after almost identical output the prior year when he caught 39/514/13.2/2.

King-sized college receiver that projects to either tight end or H-back at the next level. Solid route runner that adjusts well to the errant throw, extends his hands and catches the ball cleanly away from his body. Sells his routes, gets separation and runs well after the catch, keeping the play in bounds and working to pick up positive yardage. Above average tight end speed and makes plays in the defensive secondary. Not quick releasing off the line of scrimmage, does not play with body control nor is he always on the same page as his quarterback. Used as an in-line blocker last season but lacks overall strength and had difficulty controlling opponents. For his size and skill level not an overly active target in college. Adequate abilities to work with and a solid developmental prospect that could end up on a practice squad. Free Agent.
