Developing young tight end with a bright future. Solid route runner that separates from defenders exiting his breaks, extends for the throw and displays good eye/hand coordination. Focused, looks the ball in and catches the pass away from his body. Reads the defense, finds the open spot in the defense and sneaks it downfield on occasion. Runs well laterally and catches the pass in stride displaying better than average tight end speed. Constantly gets open and makes himself an available target. Strong hands that pluck the ball out of the air and effective running after the catch. Blocks with solid fundamentals, displays adequate footwork in pass protection and looks for someone to hit. Focuses and concentrates for 60 minutes. Quick off the snap into his blocks but not big, lacks functional football strength and has difficulty finishing off opponents. This prospect has shown terrific improvement the past two-years and capped off a good senior campaign with a terrific workout at the combine. No reason to think his path of progress should not continue in the future and he should be a solid player at the next level as he physically matures. Late Third Round.
