Fourth-year collegian that saw extensive starting action since he was a true freshman. Led the Gophers in receiving three of the last four seasons and ended his senior campaign catching 56/895/16.0/9, being named as a second team All-Conference selection. Totaled 59/1,067/18.1/11 as a junior after 36/520/14.4/5 his sophomore campaign. Received All- Conference and All-American honors after his junior year and given All-Academic notoriety in the past.

Big, strong receiver who fits the possession mold. Uses his large frame to box out or shield away opponents and protect the pass. Adjusts well to the errant throw, catches the ball in stride or makes the difficult reception in a crowd. Out-muscles or out-positions opponents, wins out in a battle and works hard running after the catch. Not quick in or out of his pass routes but positions himself correctly to make the reception exiting his breaks. Does too much body catching and cradling of the pass; lets the ball get inside him steadying the pass against his frame. Shows minimal speed and ability to get downfield separation. Inconsistent pass catching technique plus a poor forty time will knock him out of the top 45. Late Third Round.
