Athletic quarterback with nice size/speed numbers and the arm to match. Sets up in the pocket with good footwork and solid ball placement, throws with an over-the-top delivery and displays a big arm. Drives the ball downfield, puts air under his deep passes and also zips the outs. Avoids the rush when he sees it coming, gets outside the pocket and makes the throw on the move, losing nothing on his passes. A streaky passer with minimal pocket presence; stares down his primary target, not always on the same page as his receivers and makes questionable throws into coverage. Less than average accuracy due in part to the fact that he never sets his feet in the pocket, does a lot of hopping around and steps out of his throws instead of following through properly. Possesses the athleticism and arm, but poorly schooled in the fundamentals and may flat out lack the field vision.
