Versatile skill position player that has started for three seasons. Second on the team in receiving last year totaling 50/807/16.1/7, also averaging 15/10.8/1 on punt returns. Team's top pass catcher as a junior when the receiving numbers were 35/474/13.5/5 and punt return totals were 12/14.3/0. Caught 12 passes as a sophomore but made an impact returning punts with 11/15.4/1. Spent most of his freshman year as a return specialist but also saw action at running back.
Productive ball handler that could fit into a number of areas at the next level. As a receiver he displays excellent hand/eye coordination, focus and looks the pass in. Catches the ball effectively running full tilt and on the same page as his quarterback. Finds the soft spot in the defense, comes back to the throw and makes himself an available target. Goes over the middle making the difficult reception in traffic. Adjusts well to the pass and looks to pick up positive yardage running after the catch. Not a big bodied athlete, lacks the strong hands, and though quick, not an explosive ball handler. Downgraded because of poor size/speed numbers but has consistently found a way to get the job done and possibly a jack of all trades at the next level that could be used at receiver, a possible third down back and return specialist. Mid Seventh Round.
