Four-year starter that has won All-American, All-Conference and All-Academic honors over the course of his career at Oklahoma. Team's leading tackler the past three seasons, most recently recording 115/15/3/1/8 as a senior, after 122/16/4/1/5 during his junior campaign and 113/14/4 as a sophomore. Has also excelled on special teams all Four-years.
Smart, instinctive linebacker with a relentless style. Quick reading or anticipating the action, takes good angles to the play displaying force up the field. Scrapes well laterally, alert and positions himself to make a play. Aware of his pass cover assignments but lacks range, ball skills and has difficulty staying with lesser opponents in both the short and long field. Lacks speed to the flanks, over-pursues the action and does not redirect well . Terrible size/speed numbers and does not have a well developed body. More of a ""mind over matter"" prospect that was put in the right system. Great collegian with top intelligence but may lack the necessary physical skills to be anything other than a solid backup at the next level. Late Fifth Round.
