Three-year starter and an All-Conference selection last year after leading his team in rushing totaling 142/726/5.1/14 and receiving with 92/617/6.7/4. Again, team's leading rusher as a junior last season after returning from a knee injury posting 127/421/3.3/5 on the ground and also catching 52/228/4.4/2. Had a career season as a sophomore when his ground numbers were 06/1,582/5.2/13 and receiving totals 18/176/9.9/0 during 1998. Tore a knee ligament during the first game of the '99 season and has not been the same player since.

Undersized, quick back that's shown a variety of skills in the past. Runs with vision, looks to set up his blocks and follows them finding the open holes on the field. Quick footed, elusive and has a burst of speed. Competitive and an aggressive, keeps the play inbounds, working hard throughout the action. Consistent, reliable target out of the backfield; extends his hands, plucks the ball out of the air and always makes himself an available target for the quarterback. Gives effort blocking but not strong at the point of attack. Has not been the same runner since '98; seemingly has lost a half step, no longer shows the breakaway speed and what little strength he formerly showed in his running has diminished. The new offensive system implemented by the Red Raiders the past two seasons has also seemed to hurt his running style. Early on looked as though he could be a top prospect as a third down back or situational runner but that has changed dramatically though a solid performance at the combine helped his effort. Free Agent.
