Three-years starter that was awarded All-Conference honors every season since his sophomore campaign. Led the league in rushing last season posting 268/1,430/5.3/20, averaging more than 130 yards on the ground each contest. Also caught 26/242/9.3/3 as a senior. Junior rushing totals were 250/1,470/5.9/18 and receiving numbers 17/130/7.6/1. Broke into the starting lineup as a redshirt sophomore with ground numbers of 182/1176/6.5/12.
Productive collegiate player with great running back instincts. Patient, displays excellent field vision, waits for his blocks to develop then aggressively runs the hole. Keeps his feet moving up the field, strong in his lower body and picks up yardage off initial contact. Quick footed with some avoidability and finds his way through the traffic into the open space on the field. Displays a burst through the hole and works his runs. Takes the important hand-offs deep in the game. Adequate receiver out of the backfield. Not overly elusive or a back that strings several moves together in a single run, lacks the speed around the corner and cannot run to daylight. Runs best between the tackles but a little small to handle those duties at the next level. One cannot help but find themselves rooting for this player and he always gets the job done and though he may not be the main man at the next level, he should find his way onto a roster as a solid situational ballcarrier. Mid Sixth Round.
