Three-year starter that saw extensive action as a true freshman. Finished the season catching 24/415/17.3/2 in eight games, after 46/700/15.2/5 as a junior. Broke a bone in his wrist causing him to red shirt in '99 after a sensational sophomore campaign when he posted 44/712/16.2/10.

Nice-sized target who never reached the level of accomplishment many expected. Displays the ability to sneak it downfield on occasion, adjusts well to the errant throw and uses his body to shield away opponents. Times and anticipates his receptions well, gets up vertically and snatches the high throws out of the air. Good athlete with large, soft hands but shows virtually no consistency to his game. Not quick releasing off the line of scrimmage, lacks focus, concentration and displays only average hand-eye coordination. Not quick in or out of his breaks, loses in battles when he should not and too often drops some very catchable throws. Has the physical skills to flourish but must bring his mental skills and concentration up to the same level to succeed. Free Agent.
